Tesco Direct have reduced the price of Western Digital 320GB Elements Portable HDD's from £79.97 to £49.97, with free store delivery. There's also an option for home delivery. Strangely though, the listed specs describe it as having 500GB of storage.

I ordered one last night, so it'll be interesting to see what I get. If it's not what I'm expecting, I can always get a refund:-D

The elements range is different to the passport range - although they're price-checking it against a passport model at Argos - naughty!

The image on Tesco is accurate, although these drives are usually pictured with the moulds on the end, as shown below (same drive in Silver) - still pretty slick though!

Cheaper at eBuyer £44.95:
ebuyer.com/pro…511

But Tesco could be a better deal if you're going for cashback and clubcard.

Thanks for posting though - hot if it does turn out to be a 500gb!

Thanks for the info. Ebuyer P&P for delivery is £2.58 which brings the total to £47.53 delivered. But as you say, clubcard and cashback (which I forgot to mention) should make the Tesco deal cheaper, especially if, with a bit of luck, it turns out to be a 500GB model!

No, just plug it into a USB port and that's it!
