Building a Media PC for my Pioneer VSX819 and RSW12 subwoofer, and was just going to get a cheap 80gb HDD for windows 7, but came across this, which is not OE its brand new with free delivery.

Some other places are around this price, but none with free delivery.
If you dont need 1TB then this is a great price, from my searching

Oh and if anyone can recomend me a graphics card for less than 50.00 that will bitstream HD audio that would be cool, will give you rep, but been told about the ATI 5450 already.

Also need a cheap all in one keyboard which is cheap as well.

Thanks

You could try the GT 220, not sure of the cheapest price but you can get it for £45.83 at scan

i would recommend you dont get this drive, 1tb drives are not much more expensive. this is not even close to being a hot deal.

Like I said, I dont need 1TB for a media PC.

People are voting cold, based on you can get a 1tb cheaper, not everyone needs 1tb, and this has good benchmarks.

when it comes to harddrive on here, its the price per gb that matters, and this deal is not very good per gb.

so this is being voted cold for the right reason

Agreed not good per GB, but I am going to be streaming video, so did not need a 1TB and 500gb for this drive is the cheapest.

I have one of these which I use in an esata adapter and it is top class. As the OP says, if you don't need a 1TB drive then go for this.

actually its only when its being decided by idiots that £/gb is the only factor that matters.
the OP has CLEARLY stated that anything over 500gb is too much thus to pay more for a higher capacity that wont be used is stupid ...and to force YOUR opinion on THEIR needs selfish and moronic.

Finally, some common sense!

Agreed. Moreover, the cost of the drive casing needs to be accounted for hence price per GB cannot be measured by price / capacity. The drive casing makes up a substantial proportion of a drive's overall cost which explains why it is possible for a 400GB drive to cost only a handful of pounds more than a 320GB drive.

use voucher code XMASPRESS09 to get £5 off also topcashback and quidco 3% off

I've got one of these and it's very very quiet and fast! ... just bought another one for RAID
