thanks for that, false advertising from aria then as it supposed to be cheapest in uk as quoted on their website,basically if your aria forum member then its cheaper, but im not as im sure many of you are not so please expire mods:whistling:

Allthough to be fair, if you were one of their forum members and could get free shipping, this would be cheaper, but you need to have something like 50+ posts every month.

Bought 2 of these recently but both developed bad sectors within hours. As confirmed elsewhere, there seem to be a bad batch of WD drives doing the rounds. Ended up with the noisier but more reliable Hitachi 2TB.

Ive got two 1gb versions of these disk, and they arnt the fastest drives!

installed in a hp ml115. running hyperv, with a few vms, and some of the machines suffer lag

(used as lab setup)

(note this didnt happen with 2 older 500gb samsung drives i had)
