good price for 640gb but don't forget you can get 1tb for £89 (also @ebuyer)

Both work out at 8.9p per gb!

I just bought this last week for my 360, tis brilliant

good price, but im not really a fan of the 3.5" portables, hate using a seperate power supply

i'd take a usb powered one anyday, though wouldnt mind a networked nat dirve

does this one need a seperate power supply?

Same, but the 2.5" cost much more.

Don't think a metal case would help that much with heads banging around on the platters

hmm... tempting. want a 2nd drive to rsync to and didn't want to get a 1TB....

I read that as perforated - that would explain how come it's so cheap ;-)

this deal is great.. voted hot

But WD's customer service is one of the worst ever seen!!

Hi
Does any one know whether this is better than the WD Essential 500GB drive ? I know that there is 140GB more on this drive but was wondering whether the MyBook has better functionality ? Also anyone have the dimensions for this drive ?

Thanks

Price today is shown 61.99

whats the cheapest with the biggest storage just by using usb as i have enough power usage at the moment with the 33% price hike over here in northern ireland,.

Ordered friday with the free 5 working day postage...received this morning! Can't argue with that

It's showing up as £58.87 (£3.88 delivery), even with the 5 day super saver option.
That's strange for them....

In fact, I tried loads of things, all were charged delivery regardless of the price (even a £3657 LCD TV!).
