As a system builder, it saves me a £1 on a SATA cable!

Um, but for those of us with a laptop that only takes m.2 sata ssds, this is perfect I've got this running in a GeoBook 3x and it works really well, turning an otherwise very limited (32gb) laptop into something useful, despite the presence of Windows
Good price, only worthwhile on systems that only have sata m.2 as an option (e.g. some small form factor units and laptops), otherwise don't bother.

Buying sata cables ... I'm a system building but haven't ever bought one cause every motherboard comes with 2 of them

Realisticly only time laptiops will only have room for m2 because it takes up precious space to make it thinner or add bigger battery

If you're making value-oriented systems from refurb parts then that's not always the case. Probably only one in ten I make uses a new mobo.

System builder. Fancy name for relatively unskilled labour

Luckily I have many other skills to fall back on, and this is just something I do for fun. Plus, it's not a fancy name. It describes that I build systems. I can't think of a more straight forward name.

Oh, your account appears to be deleted. Well done.

It means if you use your mental faculties you can actually pick up gear at a cheaper price, even if the goods are not for sale in the UK - its what PayPal is for and as these are 'used' goods, no import duties apply!

That's not what you put at all but if you're saying you can pick up the Adata second hand for 100 I would have thought it would be better to buy it new in the UK for around the 110 mark which is what it's been going for lately. If you have purchased that already I would send it back if I were you and get a new one with the extended warranties which I believe is 5 years, rather than saving a couple quid on second hand with 1 year.

Even better, just come across a Corsair ITB NMVE SSD for £55.00 New, this was being sold as person screwed up, so with P&P at 5 quid and a week wait, you can make big savings - Check out Carousell in Asia, but many sellers use PayPal and if good marked up as 'Used' no import duties - of course you have risks, but most sellers ain't con artists.
Don't bother with SATA M.2's unless you're looking to upgrade your storage on a laptop that doesn't support NVMe over M.2. You can buy a Kingston A400 for 25 pound at various locations.

Why have you changed your screen name?

Don't worry everyone forgets these things from time to time. Just remember, if you can; that you don't have to stick your tongue out anymore. I know you'll get the dry cotton mouth from all the medication.

You ok?
