Hi

Went in looking for a 4Gb memory key and walked out with this.

In my local the store the shelf edge labels for this and the 1TB version both have the same price.

This model is mains powered and transfers via USB2.

It is a little more expensive than the vanilla version as it comes with a 3 Year Warrenty and on the front is a digital display.

It's going to be a bit heavy in your pocket compared to the memory stick. :-)

Interestingly the shelf edge suggested it came with a hook for a key chain.

The bulge in my pants will hard to explain tho.

As far as I am aware this should not be expired.

Unexpired - thanks for reporting

Hot! These get very good write ups on here and look pretty nice. I like the fact it has a LCD, even though there is no real need for it I would get one if I didn't already have an iOmega prestige 1.5TB.

The confusing thing with WD is their names. Very similar for 2.5" and 3.5", which is annoying because you always have to check carefully which one is on sale.

Order online and use the code 5HD and its only £80.74!!!

um is this store specific, could we have a picture of receipt please??

Oh crap, I went through to checkout and my card details an it crashed... I refreshed by browser and the 1.5TB is now more expensive :-(

Sorry Nick

If you really wanted one I'm sure I could get that sorted.

I purchased the 1TB Studio edition (one that I would recommend to anyone with a Mac or a Firewire 800 port as the speed is so much faster than USB2) and it's a great drive. I keep it constantly on and connected so it's constantly backing up my Mac with Time Machine. Just to say though that I think the LCD is a bit of a gimic. Maybe if the drive was more portable then it might be useful to see how much space is on there but I must say I never look at it.

Shame the price has gone up as I would have got one for that price.

£99.74 for me.... ? using 5HD

how are you getting it cheaper ?

This is NOT an online deal. It is INSTORE and still available!

Dont worry, some folk on here don't understand the concept of getting off their rear ends and checking instore. If it's not available by buying with 3 clicks or available to them right on their doorstep then it will get expired everytime.

If this deal has been helpful to one person then it is worth posting.
