Been looking to get a gigabit nas with bit torrent / twonky etc for use with PS3, found this, looks like the best price at the moment?? Plus use quidco for 3%, if this has been posted already then sorry, I have searched but cud not find it. The best deal i can see for this was posted 5 months back for the 2tb version for £119 at play.

Keep all your most important files safe and store up to 1 terabyte of multimedia files with the network-attached storage (NAS) of the sleek white Western Digital My Book World Edition Network Hard Drive.

Whether you've got tonnes of files on your PC or want a storage solution for a network of computers, you can store or backup files to the My Book World Edition with ease. With the option to configure automatic backups and compatible with both Mac and Windows simultaneously, you can rest assured that all your most important work is safe and sound.

A Gigabit Ethernet port makes transportation of your files quick and easy, whilst a 2.0 USB port makes it possible to connect external hard-drives to your My Book World Edition for even larger storage capabilities.

Also in PC World, spotted it yesterday. Forgot to post it. It won't run apps like Squeezebox (easily) but not a bad drive otherwise.

Thanks BlackCloud, forgot to mention Im also considering the buffalo linkstations at amazon, apparently these run squeezebox, according to one of the comments in the link I provided for the 2tb post.

There is alot of different comments on this drive, some people are saying it is slow etc and some people are saying its smashing.

can you swap the hard drive out with this one when/if it gets full?

I've got an older model, great for hacking to do all sorts of web based things.
It is slow though...
