Can't see it listed but could be missing the obcious as usual, does it support .MKV files? The majority of x264 films are in .mkv format, although of course these could be converted i suppose.

EDIT: answered my own question, one review states it does NOT support .mkv or DTS audio. Does NOT have HDMI either. Not a problem just something to be aware of. I think this is a great little unit for a general user

So for £30 more you could buy the standard WDTV which does have HDMI and does support mkv?..makes this a pointless purchase as far as I'm concerned..:?

This generally does nothing more than you can do with a £20 DVD player nowadays, except it cannot play actual discs.

If you want a WD TV unit then get the proper one or the Live version so you get the mkv and HDMI support.
