it's been well documented on HUKD that if you want to return an item which has been set up and used, they will not accept it. Read their t&c

Also states that if the item is defect they will take it back as is law.

Only you will not be able to return just because you decided otherwise, they will charge you a re-stocking fee.

Fair enough if you ask me.

Ummmm looks lovely

Do people seriously pay £100 for a Tv that they probably watch for 3-6 hours per day for years?

Bedroom TV? Kids TV? Also some people are just not sensitive to PQ etc.

Or if they are blind which you would have to be to buy a £100 Tv. Wouldn't even give this to the kids

Yes people without much money who want a basic TV but also want the essentials like food and rent.

Not everyone watches TV for 3-6 hours per day, some people are too busy being productive members of society.

You also need to work out a reason to pay more. Some top brands do fairly basic sets at twice this money that may not offer noticable improvement and some higher price features a lot of people do not want, like smart functionality on such a set. As for reliability most modern flat screen tv's are very reliable across most brands. Some brands may have a slightly higher DOA rate but beyond that even cheap brands will last many years with the difference between the best and worst not being that great.

Tesco have a sharp one for the same price if you don't want to use AO, i've never had an issue with them myself though...

You watch TV 3-6 hours a day? Wow, what a life you must lead! £100 is a hell of a lot of money to some folk, so please don't knock it.

Picture is probably ok, but I bet the sound is abysmal as it is on many better brands...

More crazy then strange

The sound and picture are fine no one could guess it was cheap and I have better things to spend money on such as holidays et
