It's just salt, mined in India and exported for food production etc. Only with marketing and gullible buyers does it sell for 20x the price. May as well use the cheap stuff from the Supermarket.

I think this is cheaper in home bargains.

Cheap supermarket salt has chemicals like artificial fragrance, color, cleaning agent. If you use table salt you would not get any therapeutic effect.
Cheers not bad price

It's not marketing, there's a lot less pollution from chemicals, plastics and heavy elements under the ground than in the sea.
"It contains 84 minerals and trace elements that are highly beneficial for the body"

Including Radium, Uranium and Polonium according to the spectral analysis of Himalayan Rock Salt that this number comes from. Whether that will make you glow, heathily or otherwise, is another matter.

Yes, Himalayan pink salt was 79p a kilo last time I bought some there, coarse or fine
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Instructions for use for bathing: Dissolve salt in a bath of approx 37C. Relax and soak for 20 minutes or so. For detoxifying bath use up to 500g of salt per regular sized bath. Use 3 times per week for 2 weeks, then when needed. For general wellbeing use approx 100g-200g per regular sized bath.

I can not use this as Netti salt for cleaning my sinuses it seems
I have used the salts in the bath and yeah there is a slight (nice) smelly aspect but not much. And it doesn't produce bubbles so have to add some bubble bath too. After however long you manage to stick it out in the bath, you feel nothing.

Go to bed that evening and OMG, your body is totally relaxed, you are dead to the world. It's the weirdest feeling when you wake up the next day.

I bought a few of those in Asda and at the back it says Food Grade. I don't understand why would seller state it's external use only?

Like I said before people used to snort bath salts and plant food as legal highs at the time

Well they say ::

Bathing Instructions
Dissolve salts in a warm bath of 37-39°C.
Relax and soak for 20 minutes.
For general skin health and wellbeing add 1/2-1 cup (approx 100g-250g) to your bath.
To help cleanse and purify use 2-4 cups (500g-1Kg).

I think 1kg is a bit excessive for one bath. But that is just me.

No, people used psychoactive drugs disguised as bath salts as legal highs. It never involved actual bath salt.

They're all naturally occurring elements, you probably ingest some of them every day at a low level.
