Sony WH-1000XM3 - Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones £209.79 w/voucher @ Amazon
Posted 24th Jun 2020

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Amazon were offering these for £259 with 10% off, making them £233.10 (which was a good deal).
For some reason they've priced matched someone to £233.10, with the 10% voucher still stackable, coming in at a cool £209.79. This is the cheapest ever according to the camels, and tens of quid cheaper than anyone else. Possibly cheapest price ever?
EDIT: not the cheapest price.... cheapest price from the UK? Thx to member Speculator.

It looks like one voucher per account, voucher applied at checkout.

Introducing the Sony WH-1000XM3 premium wireless noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones, packed with intelligent technology and clever design to give you the ultimate listening experience on-the-go.

Sony's pioneering noise-cancelling technology* is taken to the next level in the WH 1000XM3 with the introduction of the QN1 processor. This processor boosts the range of frequencies from which noise-cancellation occurs, giving you greater control over the sounds you block out you want to while listening to your music. It's never been easier to completely immerse yourself in sound, taking the bustle out of travel and commuting.

The battery life of the 1000XM3 is an incredible 30 hours, so you don't need to worry about constantly charging your headphones and can head out on long journeys with confidence of battery not running out. If you do run low on battery, the improved quick charge functionality gives you 5 hours of playback time from just 10 minutes charging - so even if you do run out, you'll have your headphones back up and running in no time.

An improved lightweight design features deeper and softer ear pads, making the 1000X MK3 headphones even more comfortable. They also feature a skinnier and softer headband for a more ergonomic fit, with a noticeable improvement on the WH-1000XM2. They’re portable, flexible and foldable so easy to store and easy to adjust for your perfect fit too – they also come with a specifically designed carry case for easy and safe storage.

Hear music that stays true to the original recording with High-Resolution Audio, thanks to the QN1 processor's 32-bit audio signal processing. These headphones include a powerful 40mm driver with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragm for handling heavy beats and can reproduce a full range of frequencies up to 40kHz. Even if you don't have high-resolution music, DSEE HX intelligently upscales compressed music files giving your music a clear, rich sound. LDAC transmits approximately three times more data than conventional Bluetooth, which enable the High-Resolution Audio content wirelessly. The 1000XM3 on-ear headphones are packed with technology to get the most out of your music.

The WH-1000XM3 also comes with a high res audio cable to provide an incredible a wired listening experience.

Smart settings by Adaptive Sound Control optimize listening settings automatically based on your listening behaviour and environment, but also allows you customisable control based on your own preferences. You can use the equalizer from the Headphone Connect App (works with Android and iOS) to easily set music levels to your personal taste. By placing your hand on the headphone housing, you can quickly communicate without having to take your headphones off or adjust the volume too, and a quick double-tap enables hands-free calling.

Combine high-quality sound with the simplicity of voice control. The WH-1000XM3 has dual voice assistant compatibility: it is optimised for both the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa**. Play music, hear the news, control smart home devices, get answers to questions, and more just by talking to your headphones.

Decent. Been trying to weigh up if it's worth taking the punt now or waiting for the MX4s come out.

I've only been keeping an eye out of these for the last month or so. Could someone with a better awareness of the market be able to give me an idea of when we'd expect the MX4s to hit the market, and what we could expect the MX3s to drop to?

Thank you!

The difference will be minimal.

Pairing to more than one device at a time will probably be the most convenient improvement.
Great headphones, shame that I found them to get rather toasty on the ol' ears making them a bit uncomfortable.

Not really a feature I would make use of in all honesty, that's been very helpful, thank you! Time to consult my bank balance...
Tempting to get, anybody know if warranty is needed, I had the orginal XM1s and the foam part on your head eventually broke away and then the right ear cup snapped.

Finally bit.. Thanks OP!
Hot price
Hmmmm, have a slightly damaged one of these. Wondering how much that would cost to repair vs getting a new second pair. Some of the inside plastic has broken off on the shell.

Had high expectations of these, noise cancelling not as good as all the hype imo. Poor sound when connected to a few TVs also.
Think I saw the green voucher briefly but not anymore?

Damn just got these for £255 last month, waited some times for price drop but didn’t look like it was happening. Xm4 will not be a bigger upgrade to this.

On the plus side I got 3 year warranty.
What voucher?

Everyone to their own but I've been using these for a few weeks and I find the audio quality / noise cancelling to be unbelievably good. Perhaps you're expecting it to cancel out some screaming kids?

Na I’m using the TV on at low volume as an example, cuts out the bass pretty well but can still hear the treble and voice.
Pair of £50 JBL’s cut both out completely.
Sound quality is good on them but just saying my experience is the noise cancelling is over rated imo and experience.

You’re saying a pair of £50 headphones out perform the noise cancelling on these?

and better mic imho, as they are apparently crap and everyone's making a lot of fuss that "main reason to get" bose 700 is literally mic, so it would be pretty careless from Sony not to address that.

You actually have ambience switched off?? You must be like a bat otherwise as a human can’t hear a single thing when NC is on. The app needs to be used to config them, it’s an excellent app too. Also these work with spatial audio (like Dolby atmos) so anyone who owns these really should be watching films, gaming and listening to Tidal for its 3D sound or there not hitting full potential. I warn people not to play resident evil with Dolby Atmos switched on, not for the faint of heart, the sound is scarier than the visual with 360 immersion!!

As for people wondering about Atmos, hook up a Windows device to your tv and output Dolby atmos, a lot cheaper than paying 1k for a Sonos arc!

Better than your ears being cold, no?
I bought these last month from Price LuLu for £199.99 and honestly can't recommend them (and the headphones) enough - they arrived super fast and the price is better than any deal I've seen on here for them

I actually tried to post this deal yesterday but pricelulu is a new site with links to an old dodgy site so it wasn't allowed up.

Would definitely prefer Amazon's customer support for an extra tenner regardless.

Had mine almost 18 months, constant use on planes and at home and no issues whatsoever. They have held together perfectly. This was my concern, but this design was mdified.
Use GIFT05 (possibly account specific, but just used successfully) to bring the price down to £204.79

That company is not registered on companies house. Interesting.
Lowest ever price on Amazon UK
They were this price the other night and I missed them, ordered them this time hopefully they won't cancel my order like they did with a Lay-Z spa for £500 the other day lol.
Cheapest price ever was refurbished (usually high) grade headphones from one of those Sony franchises. I got a pair that was 1 month old absolutely spotless for £189.99 2 years ago

I think some pairs have defective NC though. My friend had a pair that used to always have a slight hiss in the right cup and while NC was noticeable, you would easily hear London tube, people talking etc
