None in my local

I remember when Wharfedale made decent stuff...thankfully I'm not as old as the peeps that buy Wharfedale stuff from argos that that still think the name means something.

I know what you mean...but actually....Wharfedale still DO make some great sounding speakers.
Checkout the What Hi-Fi reviews - lots of 4 and 5 star reviews...

whathifi.com/wha…ale

I'm sure these PC speakers would be fine, but no stock anywhere near me either...

Actually there are a few in NI [though not close enough to interest me] according to the **** website.

4 in Bangor
5 in Cookstown
4 in Dungannon
2 in Omagh
3 in Strabane

What Hi-Fi's opinions should be taken with a pinch of salt. The last mag I read of theirs (about 2 years ago) they were still claiming i-pods produce better sound than all of their competitors!

Furthermore, I bought a kenwood KA3030 amp back in the day (early 90s) on their say so. I later found out that the bloke that "bigged up" that amp went on record as saying he no longer thinks it was all that great. Don't ask me for links. Just google it.

In short - What is hi-fi? - is what those reviewers were asked before they became "experts" at that magazine. Their answer? Whomever pays more for the adverts.

Its an Argos deal so oos everywhere around me

Got them ok but not great to hold continues loud play get a bit distorted but not bad for the price

So, which MULTI bumped this tread?
