Voted cold only because I hate Curry's at the moment.

Me too. Although I still prefer them to burgers.

Is it a pair for this price?
Why can't they be black. Amazing price

That was my initial thought but then I realised I could use them as height speakers so white would blend in better.
BEWARE. Currys advertise goods as 'in Stock' but they are actually lying. They take your money then you might get it back 2wks later. They advertise and get people to put up fake 'bargains' then lie about it. Today they tried to tell me 'the warehouse guy hadn't checked stock in the ailse'...seriously.... Currys tried to lie saying they had 'a guy' who hadn't checked the stock hahahaha. Not a computerised real time stock system they did a conference about in profit projection...no, some poor guy who deals with one warehouse hahahaha. This wasn't a store, this was for their main online stocking warehouse. Can you imagine that interview...'can you walk 3 miles to get a single order.....every 20secs'? Currys are liars.

Ordered two pairs to be delivered to store tomorrow. I'll let you know how I get on!
Probably another of their famous misprices.

Wth is an "ailse"?
Can these be used with any hi fi system / amplifier or only compatible with Wharfedale DX-2HCP?
Thanks

Shelving warehouses got aisles. It is a path in between to rackings
chocl80116/01/2020 16:06

it say "Quantity 1".are u sure it's 39.97 for the pair?

If you look at the specifications, then the box contents, it says 'Wharfedale DX-2 Satellite Speaker Pair'

Uh huh. Not what I asked, though.

Quite possibly going to be a repeat of the Sony speaker debacle from a couple of days ago. Orders for the Sony were cancelled on the basis they couldn't be delivered. Phoned CS and they confirmed it was a price error and item could be delivered at revised price. No apology in their email.
my mums going to hate this!

Yes can be hooked up to any amp or av receiver.
Let’s say I got 3 pairs of these and managed to get the centre as well separately. Do they have a pair of atmos to complement in a 7.1.2 set up?

Nope. Again, not what I'm asking.

You asked 'what is an ailse', i answered. It is the correct English word for the pathway between stock racks in a warehouse...among other things. If you don't know the meaning of a word, look it up first before asking.

Addendum.....spelling fascist alret, sorry alert.

You'll get over it, I wont tell anyone....your secret is mine.
What’s the sq like in these? Anyone got them set up?
Will you need an amp for these?

You typo-ed originally.

Will you need an amp for these?

Yes. These are passive speakers so will need to be powered by an amp or av receiver.
Are we expecting cancellations again. Like the recent Sony and JVC speakers. Did they hired new staff who can't put the right prices online?
