I no doubt the rear ones will need doing when you get there plus maybe a tyre or two and if you're really lucky brake pads /disks may also need attention!

Otherwise hot price!

Shows as £29.99 for me, on desktop site. Is the offer showing for mobile device users only, perhaps?

need to buy a new desktop

Small independant tyre dealers usually charge this price anyway.
In my experience they all do it the dodgy quick way - It only involves undoing one locknut and screwing the tie bar in or out . There is no justification for charging any more than £15.

The rear should be done first as it controls when the car points. Adjusting the rear changes the geometry at the front, though plenty of cars only have toe adjustment at the back, or will need shims.

I'm tempted to say, if you're going to bother, get it done properly, but the price will be significantly more.I guess it comes down to how much you value your car feeling better to drive, and perhaps the cost of your tyres.

It's sadly not one of those jobs you can do at home. Had mine done at national a few weeks ago I wasn't' overly impressed with his statement of 'that's about as good as I can get it' as I had to go back 20 mins later and have it redone as it was still a country mile out.( country mile is 15 degees plus) Then the fitter began arguing with me that a new drop link was causing it...

2 wheels seems a lot at the original £30
That is how much 4 wheel alignment costs to my knowledge
looks like a non deal to me

Can the rear wheels be aligned as easy as the front? I’m sure whenI had my front wheels aligned a few years back they told me the rears weren’t as straight forward! Thanks

Entirely depends on the car. Many/most cars are completely non-adjustable at the rear.

Yep - because as i stated they did it the dodgy quick way - just adjusting on one side.
They are supposed to adjust equally on both sides , so that your steering wheel remains central when going straight ( assuming it was like that before they touched it ).

If your car is in need of wheel alignment, search for your nearest Hunter alignment centre. The Hunter machine is very accurate.

I had 2 tyres changed at this place last year and they changed the 2 wrong tyres! But then they changed the other 2 for me for free

It's an ok price if it's done right. But if your cars done 50k plus then to get the most out of having the tracking done they must check and replace any worn components...track rod ends, bushes, drop links, shocks, springs, wheel bearings ect. I would expect them to demonstrate the worn components prior to carrying out the work and allow time to get 3 quotes before having any additional work undertaken.
You can do a quick check yourself if you follow the cars handbook on jacking your vehicle. With the front wheels raised off the ground try rocking the wheel in the 9 and 3 o'clock position and see if there's any play, repeat in the 12 and 6 oclock position. With cars wheels back on the ground also try forcfully shaking the top of the wheel in and out (left to right side) and see if there's any play.

Can have the best machine on planet Earth but it is only as good as the technician using it.
