As advertised on the Telegraph website:

To celebrate the release of Where the Wild Things Are at cinemas now you can claim a free digital camera, micro FM radio and 3-D film print - just pay postage.

Postage varies, from £1.45 for the poster, £2.99 for the radio and £4.99 for the camera.

It appears that you don't need to buy the paper to get this offer, just click through to the link:

They do mention it _could_ take 35 days for delivery (so perhaps not a stocking filler)

bought the poster! usually around £15... cheers

The poster looks cool, i wonder how large it is considering its a print of the poster,Im guessing about 5x7 inches?

Those postage costs seem a fair (but not brilliant) price for the items. It doesn't give dimensions for the lenticular but as long as it's not a postcard that's probably the best value.

Original Poster

There's no information on the poster size, though they do say "poster..... that's larger than life" (let's hope that they don't have a toddler in mind with that description

excellent thanks - worth a punt on the poster.

Wonder if the camera has a display.

Cool thanks! I saw the movie yesterday and it really is a classic story of childhood. For all those parents out there who've taken advice not to take young kids to see this - you have been mis-guided - take them and let them deal with it! Nothing to worry about.

Nice one - poster ordered

I'm so pleased that the camera is portable.

God only knows what non-portable ones are like.:)

What a stupid thing to say!!

thanks, got a poster

Ordered a poster. +H

After ordering the "poster", I noticed that it says "print of the movie poster." Prints could still mean a large poster, but in my experience a print is gonna be the size of a postcard. I hope I'm wrong!

I think the poster will be a4/a2 or postcard sized as most of their other posters are this size
see their website (expansive media)

The camera will be of vga quality not really worth it in my opinion as these always require special drivers to work.

I would assume that the 'poster' will either be postcard or A4 size

Looking at the Freebiegifts site linked to above, all their lenticular prints are either postcards or A4 prints.............not really worth the price of admission, imho...............

In 1972............

In the terms it mentions you can send an A5 stamped address envelope so the poster is probably that size or folded...

Thank You

I didn't think it was possible to fold these types of things without damaging them. I wouldn't call A5 a poster.

Was gonna order one but don't think I'll bother if they are that small

I have the up lenticular they did and it is about A4

is the camera any good no one seems to be mentioning it lol

This was my son favourite book as a child he is 26 now and I still have the book and one of the wild things!! Might get the poster for him to bring back memories. :-D

The camera looks like an Argus DC-1512E ]http//ww…632. This is very old tech and as you can see from the link it is only 640x480 resolution. For anyone who is not too technical that will produce very bad photos here are some ]examples on flickr. You will be lucky if it will focus on what you want it to take a photograph of. Having said all that it will take 'images' so better than nothing and it is cheap just don't expect much.

Camera sounds like it would be ok for an under 8 year old stocking filler.
Ooops just noticed the 35 day delivery lol

Expansive Media have been in trouble for their "free" gifts before in the past:

]http//ww…htm

oh gawd, if this is expansive media, well, the poster can't really go wrong, tho it's gonna be A4 or smaller, but I ordered a USB memory stick from them for £3, and figured, well, even if it's only 1gb it'll do for the price.

It arrives, a 'WANTED' branded stick, I plug it in to delete the advertising on it, and it's 128mb, which I ddn't even think anyone made any more. I figure, well, it'll let me move text files or the odd mp3 album about, then find out it's read only! Yes, they've charged me £3 to send me an advert, told me it's a memory stick, which techncally it is, but it's unusable as one.

I'm not gonna vote cold, because the poster will do what it's supposed to,but I'd warn people off anything electronic, or anything more than a couple of quid delivery.

i cant see the word poster, just "print", so presume A5.
Also - The camera for a child may cause more upset, as they go "Wow I own my own camera" and then wonder why they cant take photos without blur......

Cheers

Anyone receive their orders?
I ordered the poster on the 14th still not arrived.

Received the poster the other day, Not very impressed, Glad it was only £1.45.
