does anyone know about the length of the warranty period?

thanks

can it be plugged in on a ring main or does it need its own fused connection.

5 year warranty with all electricals at costco

Whirlpool 5th last in Sep12 Which? Report on washing machine reliability, which is consistent with my experience of their dishwashers and fridge/freezers. I'll never buy another of their appliances. It's worth paying for Bosch or, even better, Miele.

All washing machines go on a ring main, only electrical showers and cookers get separate fused connections - as far as I know.

How long would it take Costco to arrange an engineer if it breaks down or do you just get "we dont sell that anymore".

buy all are house hold electrics from costco , are tv broke after 4 years and we took it instore with receipt and got to pick new tv upto same value, as the model was not sold there no more , fridge/freezer went after 3 years they sent out a guy to fix it and it broke 6 months later and they picked the old one up and replaced with new model .

Costco's customer service is up there with the best.

£300 for a decent branded machine with that energy rating, 8kg load, delivered, installed and old one removed is an amazing deal.

well must of only changed the last few months because they replaced are fridge freezer in nov .

Its 90 days to take it back to the store with TV's then after the 90 days you have 5 years throught concierge service which means you go through them not costco, if they are unable to repair then you may get a refund computers 2 years and white goods usually 2/3 years depending on your refund history and state of it,

It hasn't changed. They often help out members and go above and beyond that of other retailers.

That's why I buy as much as I can from them.

Think its £25 trade and £30 non trade annually.

Pays for itself over Xmas IMO.

about £20-£28 a year .

no

Whirlpool - no thanks!

fantastic deal

With regards to Costco's returns policy, I have returned a breadmaking machine this year which broke after NINE years of use and a steam generator iron we had used for well over five years. Both items full cash refund on the spot, no quibbles at all. I wasn't sure about the breadmaker because it was so old, but asked the manager before bringing it back. He interrupted me before I finished explaining the full circumstances "Just bring it in, no problem. We'll give you a full refund".

We took a Hoover washing machine back last year which was just over two years old. It had broken and been repaired by Hoover during the first year, but they (Hoover) refused to fix it again when the same fault occurred. Costco just told us to bring it back for a full cash refund and we walked out with a new Hotpoint replacement the same day. Easy. Out of interest, when it broke the first time the manager suggested I bring it back, but I felt a bit bad given it was still fixable for free by Hoover, so went down the warranty route.

You simply cannot fault Costco for their beyond the call of duty customer service and no-quibble returns policy.

We had a Whirpool, it lasted 13 months, they were not interested in helping~ dont touch em with a barge pole !! all they were interested in was ~ you ought to have taken out extended warrenty

Costco member ship fee, you can share the membership with more than one person. I pay £11 per year
