Never owned one but as my wife is struggling to look after the family had to get her one for our new extension

Apparently its too small for larger plates as stated in reviews. The cost of replacing everything is not a hot deal for me.

The glasses holder looks a bit wobbly (in video), but price balances things back into place.

Forget any cashback deals from AO and Topcashback, they'll publish a cashback rate (in my case 10.1%) then pay 1% and when you query them they cynically blame each other for the non payout. Never had this issue with Quidco

Our Whirlpool dishwasher control panel failed after 2 years, only had one year guarantee. Not much sympathy from Whirlpool when we suggested this was a little premature, woffle type answer stating they could not predict when failures might occur, best they could offer was a £150 fixed cost to repair. Needless to say we junked it, bought a different brand, would not consider a Whirlpool product ever again.

How about chipping in with some of the chores then Dean!? Lol

This reminds me of recent problems my family and friends has been having with AO putting you in a vicious circle between AO, manufacturer, their engineer and leaving them with a faulty item to dispose. They will ask you to get an independent engineer at your cost. The person wears down an they give some ridiculous low settlement figure ( "gesture of goodwill" ) for a expensive faulty appliance and most of the family accepted as they did not know where to turn and they are well off and no comebacks. Sounds similar story with cashback with TCB and maybe they should remove them if they do not honour genuine cashback! Price is tempting but do you need the hassle when something goes wrong?

If a problem occurs then follow it through with a letter to Managing Director, independent report and if not to your satisfaction then small claims court as your contract is with AO as the retailer ( Vendor ) as it should work for a reasonable time.

I understand you have 6 years protection under EU law - anyone know the details and claim method?

tbf TCB have graduated rates depending on what you buy. The 10% rate is very specific indeed

I joined TCB in the summer already had a couple of minor issues with them about tracking (the pop up box showed it had recorded my visit by the you have new cashback email never happened when order placed) which are being looked into but I always check the rates before I place orders etc. I note they have taken away the forum now although to be fair it's not been up since I joined I don't think

Would love a dishwasher but think I need to rebuild the kitchen first! Oh well HUKD will be my first port of call when that's done.

Show £199 for me..

Not bad, My dishwasher is playing up after 10 years and answers back!!

This is very good price for a full size dishwasher. Even if it packs up after two years of every day use on full load you have already saved over this time on washing up alone to buy a new one. Not that I side with the manufactured and I agree that pricey appliances should last a bit longer.
Our dishwasher packed up after four years, wasn't happy but never even crossed my mind to call an engineer. Just bought a new one, different brand with newer and better technology and on offer.

Never had a problem with AO customer service. But then I've never had s faulty order
