The 1400 spin speed is useful in that more moisture is removed in the final spin than a normal 1200 spin washing machine, reducing drying times. What sets this model apart from most 8kg washing machines is the A+++ energy efficiency. This means it will be up to 30% cheaper to run per year than an A rated machine. For a washing machine aimed at the family, this is very reassuring!

This has been in the sale for a week ,I always considered Whirlpool a premium brand (like Bosch and Miele) is this so or has the name been bought in order to offer budget priced goods . I honestly dont know I'll await comments with interest from the more knowledgeable.members .

whirlpool are known for faulty goods and extortionate call out fees for repair. best place for comparison is which. should give you a better overall view in value vs quality debate.

Anyone have any info on the grey/silver Hotpoint one which currys are selling for £229 at the minute??
