Do you do that too? I thought I was the only one! Mmmmm...

Glad I'm not the only strange eater here ..on toast and sprinkled with sugar...yum,yum!

Blimey, that's cheap!!

*runs out of house in the direction of Morrisons*

Heat for your clever Moggy!

You people seriously eat cat food? On bread? With sugar?

Hot deal. My cat's due some more food. Cheers for this.

Thats very cheap they normally around £8

Nice!

I'd never feed my cat this stuff - full of fillers and additives and only about 4% meat.

do they only have the cat one, or is whiskas kitten on the same offer? thanks

Do NOT feed your cats this garbage unless you are willing to clean it's teeth or provide dental chews. My first cat lost 60% of her teeth due to the high sugar content in this food, the vets always say this brand is complete crap.

who cares, they are only cats

They employ horses to make cat food? But how do they catch the fish?!

Good price, but I'd much prefer people buying their cats food with meat in.

great bargain has this been found in any other stores? what branch was it found in please?

It goes without saying that pet owners usually care about their pets, but even if they didn't, the financial woes of having rotten teeth removed is not fun.

False economy right here.

must admit my cat does love this stuff, so i shall be getting some

i tried some of the [email protected] stuff that is like 70% meat and she turned her nose up at it

picky sod

Thats what confused me and I had to amend my post because the picture is for a pack of 48

I bought several of these on Amazon for £9 which is a good price as they around £14-£16

This is one of those 'cruel to be kind' moments. Whenever my dog decides he doesn't like his meat on any given day, then he simply goes without. He'll be hungry the next day, and will eat what's put down. It's all training.:)

That's because this is loaded with sugar so tastes "nicer". Like to us a McDonalds is nicer than a pasta.

Tis up to you to feed your dependants the right food.

Tesco's regularly have 2x 12 Pouch boxes for £4

Same old Morrisons..start a deal without having stock. Went to my local branch at 1700, none in stock and none expected I was told. This advertising should be illegal if they know stock is not coming to some branches.
It is for 24 pouches NOT 48.

They are in the way they dont want to die of starvation, eventually they will eat it.

Meat derivatives so it's pig a hole and ox eyeball.

Min 50% meat for mine and the rest is usually water.

Wet - Natures Menu, Feline Fayre, Encore, etc
Dry - Acana, Orijen, etc

I have had to try a lot before mine together were happy with something of high meat % but I got there. I have listed the ones above mine will eat. There are numerous others around. Marks and sparks do some nice tins.

As other posters have said this stuff is rubbish, it's like giving McDonalds to your cat. Stick to dry cat food. It doesn't smell as much and is cheaper. Wet cat food is bad for them.

My cat has some wet, some dry. (Normally expensive teeth cleaning dry stuff from the vet). Was interested in some of these posts about how bad this is. He will only eat Whiskas Simply or Felix Marinades anyway, so won't be buying it, but are Simply and Marinades any good? If not what is a good wet food?

Good quality wet is fine for them as it has a high amount of moisture. Dry has dental benefits as well as the smell situation. Then some people prefer the raw approach.

It can be like crack the cheap stuff. I would hazard a guess the marinades are no better. Check the back. Like I said, it was a hard slog to find high meat % that mine would eat. You could try any of the following but start checking the meat % on the back of stuff;

Tesco finest
Tesco luxury
Marks and Spencer tins for about 62p
Natures menu (pets at home)
Pets at home simply iirc
Encore at sainsburys
Applause (pets at home)
Feline fayre (iirc asda sells this but check meat % as some aren't that great. I get mine at Costco)

Mine also get boiled chicken breast each week.
