OK, not the newest model for the MeMO Pad, but a good price for a tablet.

ASUS have combined beauty with innovative technology to bring you the MeMO Pad™ 7.

Weighing only 275g and small enough to fit comfortably in your hands, the tablet boasts a 7-inch LED backlight WSVGA (1024x600) display for stunning visuals. Whether you want to play games, watch videos, access content online or make video calls with your loved ones, this tablet performs all these tasks seamlessly with its powerful Intel® Atom™ Dual-Core processor.

The tablet’s stunning visuals are matched with the rich audio experience it offers; the integrated speakers are powered by ASUS exclusive SonicMaster audio technology to provide you with an immersive experience that’s simply unforgettable.

The ASUS MeMO Pad™ 7 features a 2-megapixel camera on the back for recording video in high definition as well as a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front that’s great for making video calls. All enclosed in the tablet’s lightweight metallic construction, it offers up to 8 hours of battery life to keep up with the sophisticated lifestyles of today.

Credit to Chanchi for the heads up.

I have it and it lags sometimes, would advise you to get something with higher specs.

Have this for my daughter
She loves it and it's enough for her

was looking at this for a bike computer with GPS, as it's a pain lugging my Tab 3 10.1 arround on the front of the bike.

good for the price i have one

Can anyone tell me what this tablet can do well and what it struggles with please?
I just wanted something not too expensive to watch bbc iplayer, youtube and internet browsing whilst away for a week in October and then maybe again at Christmas.
Thanks in advance.

Battery life. I charge mine, leave it for a day and then its dead flat

Fine for email, browsing the web and video etc but no good for gaming tbh.

thanks, bought with 20 GBP voucher and 9 GBP cash

Got one of these, leggy as hell. Virtually unusable and often unable to update the few apps on it due to lack of memory.

got this when it has the £20 back in Clubcard points and was really not impressed with it. It makes the hudl2 look like an iPad mini. I guess if you really only want to spend £49 on a tablet then this... is a tablet at least. I really couldn't recommend it though. Horrible screen, poor build quality, terrible performance. You can always boost your Clubcard points on Hudl so I'd say wait for another £20 Direct voucher and spend the extra on one of those.

My toddler stepped on this 2 days after we got it and the screen smashed. I was actually relieved I didn't have to use it anymore.

I've not experienced any issues with gaming...

I use it for watching Netflix or anything I've downloaded. Not had any issues so far.

ok for the kids to throw around, any adult caught with it though is just poverty

The only tablet worth investing is the IPad. Great everything!

I would recommend the higher spec 176cx, which is currently £20 more (£69.99) at Currys and available for C+C or free delivery.

hi my daughter has had one of these for past year with no problems at all.
It's purfect for what you want

Back at £49 in Tesco.

I am having problems with this tablet that if its battery is drained then it won't start again or even not charges up again. Though good Tesco Customer services did replacements twice for me.

If anybody had similar issues with this model?
