I prefer it by a mile to the Sainsbury's and Tesco's cheapo ones.

Personally I don't like white chocolate but Fin Carre is generally excellent stuff. Hot from me...

It will be a damn site better than Cadbury's.
There will be cocoa butter and no veg fats that we have in our "Family milk chocolate".

In saying that white chocolate is considered not to be real chocolate by some.

Heat OP for the deal.

where is this deal in the country, seems to be different to an earlier post

The Fin Carre milk chocolate is one of the best and cheapest i've tasted!

Can confirm there are no veg fats (Cadbury's are evil for that, just tastes like fat and sugar to me), have 3 bars in the fridge already

Ingredients:
Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Dried whole Milk (18%), Dried Cream (6%), Dried Whey, Lactose, Emulsifier: Sunflower Lecithins; Natural Vanilla Flavouring.

Cocoa Solids 28% Minimum, Milk Solids 24% Minimum. May contain soya and nuts, suitable for vegetarians.

brown sugar just as bad as white really, same addictive stuff just not bleached like white sugar.

honestly sugar is probably the biggest cost to the NHS

The beef mince is nice, bought loads last time, not too fatty, makes for nice bolognaise, lasagne and meatballs.

Lidl seems to be cycling these deals lately, anyone know how often they get repeated

its 19p per bar how can you complain at that price its nice chocolate.

best white chocalate out there

heat

You're right! Reminds me of my youth stealing chocolate from our rabbit....

More expensive Lidl chocolate is ok, but this is cheap for a reason.

Each to their own though.

It's good chocolate and an insult some have compared it to dogs chocolate.

I love this - in fact I prefer it to milky bar!! Will stock up a few bars! At 19p why don't those who doubt it buy it to try it!

Good job I am addicted to cheese not white chocolate then X)

This stuff is really nice, way better than, say, Tesco's cheap white choc. I'll be buying about 25 bars - they usually have huge supplies when doing these offers and I've never been restricted.

Except getting through the checkouts, troublesome1?

Believe me, if they let my university flatmate go through the checkout at ASDA, they won't have a problem even if you got fifty chocolate bars. I'm in no way being mean since I'm not slim, but this guy surely weighed way over thirty stone. (Perhaps over thirty-five?) His shopping trolley frequently had about twenty huge blocks (you know, those that are half the size of a brick) of Smart Price cheese inside. Then, he usually created some kind of concoction in the evening with Super Noodles and the Smart Price cheese. He made the kitchen smell so terrible I often had to retreat to my dorm for hours. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if he's not alive today.

that's a sad story, Mantis.

i could understand it if food addicts were addicted to foie gras, crepes suzette, the finest champagnes etc - but most food addicts one reads about in the newspapers are consuming the most unhealthy and unappetizing foods one can imagine.

sugar is so addictive though, its very similar to a drug

sugar is good for you!!

oh dear

Just bought 2 packs, didn't even know about this offer, just popped in there lol.

People had boxes full at the checkout and staff were putting them through. Though the Lidl I was in had tonnes of the stuff.

Just been in and bought six packs of mince meat and four bars of white chocolate :-) thanks!!!

Has the 500g mince for a quid gone un-noticed???
