Cheers op

Cheers op, just what I was looking for

I've got one of these. It's a pretty good dryer. It lacks a delayed start feature, which I miss because my previous dryer had one. Handy if you are on Economy 7 and/or you'd rather have the noisy dryer running whilst you are upstairs or out, rather than in the next room. Also the feet are not very grippy, and you will find it moves around on lino each time you load it. You can fix that with some bits of that grippy stuff you get from Wilkinson for £1 a roll. But these are little niggles. It does an efficient job and this is a good price. You could iron out those niggles with another dryer that cost £100 more.

incase you didn't know!!!!

We went into store to buy this as we had love to shop vouchers. We were told that the online store was more extensive and you could only buy what was in their catalogue in store, but what the clerk then said was even better!!! That they price match the ones in the book but then also take 10% off.
So got on our phones to find the ones in the book for cheaper, we ended getting an indesit vented which was in the book for £269, advertised at curry's for £140, but then only paying £126 as they then knock offf 10%. I was delivered free of charge as most of the appliances in the book are.
That is something that the Homebase don't openly advertise but just read the back couple of pages and all is revealed.

I have had one of these (non condensing) for about 5 years now and one before that for about 7 year. In all that time one belt broke and the heating element failed in the old one. I could have replaced it myself for £15 but decided to retire it and get e new one. They are utterly indestructible.

Can also keep you warm whilst your house burns down!

You can get round this by using a plug timer which you can pick up for less than a fiver. Hope this helps
