Been needing a new tumble dryer for approximately £150 due to tight budgets, but needed something decent, value for money and with good running costs. Found this which was originally apparently £227, and usually more on other sites.

Seems a really good deal as it has digital functions as well as sensing programs. It's energy efficiency is 'C' however it seems that White Knight dyers cost roughly the same as 'B' rated dryers from other brands. Found this out at sust-it.net and some forums.

Hope this helps someone looking for a good budget dryer!

Our White Knight has lasted us years....

How do you work that out?

This model isn't even listed, and many White Knight C rated Dryers are nearly as low on the list as it is possible to be!
cheap as chips and easy to repair yourself if parts fail ours has been out in garage for 8 years and only had element changed as it burnt out

Sorry I also used the calculator on the site. According to other websites that stock this dryer, it uses this much energy:

Typical energy usage – 2.23kWh/Cycle (half load), 3.68kWh/cycle (full load). 457kWh/Year.

So using the calculator on the Sust website, it 57.04p per cycle. Which seems pretty good to me considering the upfront cost? (PS I'm no expert here!)
