Do you have one of these? What are your thoughts, it seems a mixed review...

Well i'd no idea it was anything more than a spotlight, due to the description.Maybe if it said it was cctv as well.
Thanks OP. Shame it's not hot as it's a great reduction. Premium product syndrome again it seems - attracts cold votes
Ordered a floodlight cam instead (been waiting for a price around £200) but thanks a lot for your post, otherwise I wouldn't have checked the price. Voted hot. Thanks

I have owned the Ring Floodlight cam since last April and had an issue with it a few months later, but it was replaced by Ring under warranty (I like to give some manufacturers a chance, as even expensive cars go wrong!). Since then it's been working fine, only needing a reboot once. I know some people complain about the network connection, but I guess it depends on how far away you are from your router, as well as how many walls etc are in it's way. Unfortunately as with all these things, it's trial and error. Some people will have interference and then blame the unit, others will be lucky and have no issues. I purchased a Ring Spotlight a few weeks back from John Lewis (2yr warranty) and have installed it in the garage for now, as I need to wait to have an external plug socket fitted at the front of my house. It's pretty much the same unit, but without the bigger spots that the Floodlight cam has. The Floodlight cam is ideal if you require more light, whereas the Spotlight cam is more suited to smaller areas (side of a house) or the front of the property (lower down) where you may not require as much lighting. I hope this helps.
