I've had this a while and the quality is fine but you need to do some adjustments to stop the lining falling into the basket all the time! A good price in the sale.

Does the wicker break off much?
That used to happen on my old wicker baskets.

Unfortunately yes, hence the wording.
Do you not have a store near you? These lot seem to be nationwide and have expanded recently.

Yes but I don't drive so I'd have to carry it across town and try getting it home on two buses!

got loads of curtains from 15p etc in stockroom clearance from dunelm huddersfield check your local dunelms and ask for stockroom clearance

Just what I need, but none in stock near me. Heat added.

None in stock near me! Yay! (Temptation averted) X)

Lovely basket- but beware of wicker mites! Absolutely nasty beasties that nest in natural woven wicker (I've gotten rid of all our wicker/ rattan/ hycainth storage boxes despite them looking lovely they were just too infested. (Well, one basket was but I wasn't willing to risk the rest) if you google it there loadsa stories about babies Moses baskets etc having the mites too..

My issue is with bits breaking off easily.
Did you find that with your items?

Wicker does seem to break a lot easier that hyacinth and the like- I can't speak for the durability of this laundry basket- but, we had decorative wicker hearts dotted around the home and they are constantly twigs snapping off.. And with a laundry basket I expect the amount of wear and tear it gets- it probably won't last that long. I traded our hyacinth one for a plastic 'rattan look' 'Curver' brand one.. Does the job nicely and a lot more hard wearing
