I'm tempted to get a RARE white one. I've already got one, but I haven't dared to take it out of the box in case it effects it's collectable value.

Rare? How?

I think "rare" is possibly positively telling porkies

cut it open and see if its pink inside - then we'll know if its rare

The amount of these buggers sold as a result of the duplicate posts on HUKD every week there is no chance on gods green these are rare whatever colour!

Wish they'd do the dual sim one at this price

Anyone permanently gone from a N5 to a moto g? I went temporarily but missed the bigger screen.

The new Moto G has a 5" screen, but it doesn't have 4G

The dual sim Moto G is 3G. You can get the 4G version working with 2 sims but not at this price. Running mine with two sims using a dual sim carrier from Magic sim. Rather clunky to set up but sims switch over in 10-20 seconds and I have voice and data on both sims. The carrier says it gives 4G on both sims. My sims are 3G and 4G and they connect at those speeds. Use code ELITEDEAL fro 15% off by 31st October. (no connection with magicsim BTW...)

The new 4G model will, but I have no idea if/when they're releasing one.

I don't understand the hype. My girlfriend recently bought a Moto G after reading glowing reviews. After it arrived you can instantly understand why they're so cheap. It's sluggish in operation, the camera is poor and the whole experience feels low rent. My previous LG G2 was light years ahead of it in everyway. At this price point I shouldn't really complain but if this is the best of a cheap bunch the other devices at this price point must be awful.

This isn't a trolling post, it to advise people to either try before they buy or go for something better to avoid disappointment.

When do Tesco send the next lot of vouchers?

Danthemac what are you talking about? The moto g is anything but sluggish, you must be drunk. I just upgraded from an older xperia phone and the moto g is rapid.

I currently own an LG G3 and have a Sony Z3 tablet on pre order. I've not owned an iphone since the iPhone 4.

The phone is great, not sluggish at all.

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

I agree - swapped from my G2 to the Gen1 Moto G as was far better value per £ spent. Not a sluggish phone by any standard and mine is put through its paces on a daily basis. Won't be on par with the G3 - but then costs £200 less.

It's sluggish in comparison to a Nexus 4 which is an older phone and also fairly cheap.

I've had both and both are nippy little ****.

Great phone and a amazing price for £115. Works great and fast just added a 32gb memory card to mine.

You can't really compare this with a g2. The g2 costs more and has better specs so will obviously be better. You should have spent more if you wanted a phone like the g2

Your opinion goes against every single review and user opinion out there. Moto G isn't perfect, but being sluggish is definitely not one of its problems, so stop spreading wrong information.

it is...really....android just runs a load of rubbish for no reason and slows it down. I have a moto g 4g and sometimes messenger will just totally grind to a halt when im typing. when i press the home button it takes a good few seconds to populate the icons and sometimes when i use the app switch button (or whatever it's called) it shows me nothing, until i back out of it and do it again

android is poor.

Of course you can, 2x the price for nearly 2x the phone. It takes a fool to think that's a world shaking discovery and right on cue a fool turned up!

Meh, you can do this at home. One black Moto G + two bottles of Tippex = one rare white Moto G

That's just how Android handles RAM. You can fix it by rooting and installing performance control and adjusting this. You can make it less aggressive killing apps.

About £1.50 maybe less.

Yeah the MotoG is pretty good. We use them as work phones and they are quick. A quad core phone with a decent screen for under £100.. can't complain at that. If the extra speed of something like a G3 is worth the 2.5x premium then go for it.
