Heaven

Does cooked lobster mean it's already been chucked in the pot. Do I just serve it up?!

Goods prices but the whole cooked lobster is just £5 from November in Iceland.

Yep - hence why it's red and also dead (lobsters are black when alive and usually boiled in a pot to cook/kill them).
.
They come frozen so it'll just need defrosting and microwaved if you want it warmed up.

It will be awful lobster, I promise you

It must taste awful at this price surely!

Microwave? Silly boy. They usually come frozen in a block of ice which is defrosted then the lobster is placed in boling water for a few minutes ago. Will taste the same as any other lobster but will be tiny. Just because its £6 and fron Lidl doesn't make it taste any different.

I bought one of these last year just before Christmas and while I've had lots of lovely surprises buying stuff from Lidl - this was not one of them - slightly bigger than a large prawn and no taste whatsoever Soz would not buy again.

Which part of "it must taste awful at this price surely" makes any suggestion that ive tasted it? I merely assume so because of the price and tbh i imagine my assumption will be correct. Surely you appreciate why i would imagine this to be the case?

No, you made a statement by starting with "It must", if you preceded that with "I imagine...." or "I assume....", then your rebuttal would be correct.

I will second that. In fact most of the deluxe range is very poor and personally I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Not the case when the adverb surely is used at the end of the sentence.

Pmsl.

Had a lobster from Lidl last year. never again. It was so small with hardly any meat on it, plus totally tasteless.

silly me

£19.99 a kilo for smoked salmon? That's extortionate!

i had crabs in thailand

I've had frozen lobsters from Lidl and Asda in the past. The one thing they had in common was zero taste. Not a trace of flavour. If you flavour it with something it nearly becomes edible but both had an unpleasant texture to them. Good price though.

You should have seen the GUM clinic doctor

12 scallops with garlic and herb parsley butter - 150g - £3.99

Cheaper to buy it from the fish mongers.

Remember to buy ''kind prawns''. Kind prawns provide a solid stool opposite to the rude ones.

This is a much better way to eat lobster, i got a live one and it kept running off the bbq.

I don't need to phish, I know I look purdy...

I bought this a couple of years ago. I was surprised how good it was. Yes it was fairly small, but it was fairly tasty. We may have been lucky. I would be cautious as to how long you re-heat it for- too long and it will get tough and possibly tasteless.

Joke time;

How do you know if someone has been to America?

They tell you.
