Cracking deal

you had an open goal my friend.

Quacking deal
Wow. That does seem like a good deal. I have bought the Lidl and Gressingham versions which are smaller. Currently defrosting a Tesco one I got for about £3.50 (yellow reduced stickers). That is lighter too (from memory). They are all tasty and a treat
Country of origin of the duck?

i wonder if it had a happy life
Great deal. I noticed some of the gressingham packs in the supermarket don't always include the pancakes these days, so this is a great price.

Indeed ... Ignoring the fact that farming methods in the last 40 years have led to a huge reduction of wild birds . Hedgerows ripped up , wetlands drained , insecticides killing food sources for the wild bird population , herbicides killing almost everything except the crop they are growing .. And most of it ending up in the water table . All for fields of rapeseed , wheat and assorted veg.
Guilt tripping meat eaters is easy .. Next time you look at a field of crops you are looking at a desert for wildlife , it's been sprayed to the hilt , there's more food for wildlife in a car park .
Not saying mistreating animals for food is ok .. Just everything has a knock on effect.
It's not imitation meat just for your information. It's NOT vegan.
Great price for whole Duck, but I do love the Lidl Half duck with the Plum sauce and pancakes, loads of meats and loads of Pancakes
