The title is a bit confusing, is this deal for Peking duck or is it for crispy aromatic duck?

Before anyone starts, they are different.

My wife and I did have a Sainsburys chinese the other night.
Spent about £16 on it and I should have gone to the take away. It was bed.
However their Crispy Duck is good!
I'll be getting one tomorrow.

Cheers.

On my third since the offer started and its superb. You get 2 sachets of hoi sin sauce and 16 pancakes and its just enough for a good nosh up for me and the missus.

You just need need to shred half a cucumber and half dozen spring onions to go with it. Voted hot and rep added. How you can vote this cold just because you don't like duck is beyond me. You're supposed to be voting on the quality of the deal not your personal food perference.

Voted cold, I prefer to have cucumbers whole, and gratuitously shredded for someone else's enjoyment. Vegetable rights and PEACE!

No, just kidding

The duck is really nice... we had this y'day. It doesnt look that great coming out of the oven ~ but when you serve it shredded its lufferly. We bought extra pancakes and did the spring onion and cucumber bits.
Very nice dinner for a change!

Can't do a Homer Simpson voice on line but. . . .. . .

Mmmmmmm

Duck!

Cheers Op!

Getting me some tomorrow!!!

Hoi Sin Sauce Comes Seperately - This Duck Is Gorgeous, I Bought It And Tried It

Recommend flipping it to make sure the undercarriage is nice and crisp!

Can't help but feel it will be another disappointing meal. Full of preservatives and not all that fresh. I'll give it a go cause price is good, not expecting great results though. Guess it's up to your own personal preference.

Saw this last week and wasn't sure if it would come up as nice and crispy or even nice at all but will give it a go.

Not gonna vote but i could really tell the difference between restaurant and package meal in taste. PRice is really nice consider my local chinese is £22 for whole duck, can anyone take picture of how big it is? probably vote after i see how big it is

Anyone know when this offer ends.

I LOVE crispy duck and hoi sin, but am away from home at the moment.

Can these be frozen, and do they have a good use by date on them.

Thanks, Quackin' deal.

Is it crispy aromatic or peking? they're different

not recommended forf reezing unfortunately,

My wife, daughter and I had this on Saturday.

Tasty enough but not really enough for a main course for 4 people as advertised on the box.

Had two of these to feed 5 the other nite.

Don't use the sauce then

Thanks, so it is aromatic and not Peking, although Sainsburys use the word 'Peking' in the branding, taking advantage of good old British ignorance. I find Peking much nicer than crispy aromatic, but quite hard to find in a lot of the UK.

after having this as the kid wanted to try it he was very happy and enjoyed it alot. the next nice little fluffy animal he wants to try is a rabbit. I love rabbit but my local butchers has not been out shooting to get some do any supermarkets stock it??? even though i would really want a butchers one.
