why cold (cheaper than anywhere else, and its British milk)?

People that post lidl deals never have a pic of the item always have a pic of a lidl bag.

Lmao

Virtually same as most stores. Maybe British milk but you're buying from a foreign shop. Better off buying from British businesses.

I have noticed places selling 2ltrs instead of the standard 4pint. This is a good deal!

Has there been some kind of crazy milk price war broken out that no one has bothered to tell me about!?!
HEAT!!!

Great price. Hope it's not negatively affecting cow farmers too much.

If 2p off a liter of petrol goes uber hot this should be the hottest deal on the planet.

.84p morrisons

5p off normal price and this has gotten hot? Times must be hard!

The last time I tried to take a pic to post a deal, I was stopped and by staff that it is not allowed. Strangely, this deal was on their catalogue and not store specific...!! I quoted this to the staff in my

If you can find it more than 5p off please post a deal. Until then keep your phat gob shut.

90p in Tesco and Iceland, personally I'd pay the 10p more if I knew it was going to the farmers. These big stores squeeze every last drop of profit out of these guys.

Same price as Aldi.

84p in Morrisons.

5p is 5p.We use about 200 a year so that's £10.£10 is petrol for a trip to the coast.

That's what HDUK is all about

Hot

70p in NI Lidl currently

If you ask a member of staff what milk looks like, I'm sure they will help you out.

Farmfoods do 2 x 2 liters of milk for £1.60.

I know 2 liters is very roughly 3.5 pints.....well 2L = 3.5195pt

Working on that rough calculation, at farmfoods you get 7pints for £1.60 and at lidl 8 pints for £1.90.

So per pint:

Farmfoods: 22.8p
Lidl: 23.75p
Then combine this with Farmfoods £2.50 off £25 etc spend vouchers
Link: farmfoods.co.uk/inc…pdf
Giving an effective 10% off means you would be paying a little over 20.5p per pint.
Ok so unless your buying for every house on your street your not going to spend the whole voucher on milk but if you were going to get some things there anyway then it helps.

Or £10 to get to LIDL to buy milk for a year?

I don't know but to me the Lidl milk tastes a bit funny

Turnip

84p in Morrisons.

Morrisons Meadow Park @ 84p is 2 litres - not 4 pints.

So add 10% to the price to get the 4 pints comparison 92.5p

to make milk cheaper they milk the cows 4-5 times a day. Them producing twice the amount of milk they normally do which makes it more watery and less like real milk from cows that get milked twice a day. The cows will die a early dead due to this process.
Enjoy your cheap milk

They have UK offices and they pay UK tax. Don't shop at asda they owned by Walmart. Don't shop at tesco as they now have shops in other countries. Don't buy any electronics, all imported etc etc. There are not many purely British businesses selling purely British products.

Farmers are paid a set amount regardless of prices that supermarkets set currently about 32p per litre I think. All these milk deals are either loss leaders or absolutely minimal profit. It's all publicity and its working.

In summary no. Any farmer will milk at the most 3 times daily. They know that any more and hardly any milk will be milked and it will be inefficient and less cost effective. From what I have seen the average cow will produce 90 liters of milk daily when milked twice. They will not die from being milked, if anything it's a lot more painful for them when they aren't milked. Any sources for any of your claims are appreciated.
