Sainsbury's have today launched their Whole Milk bags in 100 stores!
When on Sainsbury's online search for '6778443'

A bit of extra info: skimmed and 1% fat milk bags will be launched in June 2011

Don't quite see the point. I currently pay £1.10 for 2 litres in Iceland (I assume it's 80p for 1 litre) - so no cheaper.

The council (Glasgow) accept plastic bottles for recycling but not bags - so less environmentally friendly?

Remember the bags in Canada years ago. Didn't like them one little bit.

Its FAR more environmentally friendly to not make the bottles in the first place - recycling is not exactly an efficient process, so using bags that contain very little product but arent recycled is still more environmentally friendly than using plastic bottles.

saw these yesterday and they were 2 for £1.50 in my local sainsburys, so pretty cheap compared to the 2 for £3 for the bottled milk.

This is by far the most popular way to buy milk in Canada so someone must like them!

Going by the Sainsburys website it is only the semi-skimmed that is 2 for £1.50 not the full fat
