According to another post it is the same price in Morrisons so there must be a sea bass glut! Great price.
Wonder who's price matching who?
I received a £1 off £4 fish counter spend coupon with my Clubcard vouchers so paid £3 for two today.

Season fish well, Steam with ginger for about 7 mins. Top with chilli and spring onion. Heat about 6 spoonfuls of oil then pour over top of fish to make a sauce. Serve with rice yum yum.
Exactly how we cook it - tastes fantastic.

we steam it with a splash of light soy sauce, a little mild olive oil, spring onions and ginger.
Can't go wrong with the ginger/spring onion/chilli/soy combo.

put as much crap on as possible to disguise the oily horrible greasy taste

I got given mega evils when I asked if it could be skinned and deboned :-)
Bass in the plaice london!
My local tesco fish counter is rubbish. I bought a sea bass, ticket said it was gilled and gutted. It wasn't. Plus they ran out of bags and stuck it in a carrier bag (with holes). It leaked over other food. Complained and got £20 gift card. Never again. Asda is much better, heat sealed bags, plus they give a sauce free.
Half price but how big ?

Alternately create a dutch oven and let rip.

Seems like it will create a similar aroma!
Baked seabass is great in taste. Marinate for Six hours with pepper n salt. Add lemon while serving hot. Plus White wine.
They've been £2 whole in Morrisons. Picked some up earlier today.
no dumb and dumber quote ? i'm shocked :-(
Take half a filleted sea bass and grill with a little olive oil serve with lemon on some sautéed fennel. A very cold glass of a good dry white wine.
