Wow, my first ever post here. A site though I have used a few time before but thought it would be nice to contribute which by the looks of it many are happy that I did.

you made a factually inaccurate statement which I corrected for the good of any wood be purchasers. Not really sure on your angle with your nonsense.

i would be more concerned with getting ready for my flight instead of posting nonesense over a burger. But have a good flight nonetheless. 🏻

I'll report back from Edinburgh Airport tonight then. If you read the reviews from the app lots of 1 star reviews complaining about being unable to use vouchers at service stations etc

Taking out service stations and airports (where most vouchers are difficult to redeem)doesn’t leave only high streets now, does it....

Also no good in Havant today because Burger King is closed today for some reason . And if you were thinking never mind Ill just walk up to KFC and have the £1.99 deal, think again because that is closed as well today. I feel as though I have just been in a nightmare .

On the plus side, the pub the Parchment Makers, with its incredibly good aircon, saved the day for us

it's not that great a deal tbh, i'd want to add a couple of slices of cheese and they charge 50p per slice!

i'l stick to using my McDonalds vouchers for Bigmac + Fries for £1.99

Most of the other stuff can be added for free. An extra burger is only a £1, so 50p for a slice of cheese seems steep.

My usual Burger King line is "No onions, extra pickles please." after ordering the burger/burger fries app deal.
Haven't used Burger King for fifteen years because they were rubbish compared to McD then. Have they got better?

Get a packet of cheese slices from the local supermarket and wack some in :). Wait a couple of mins for the cheese to melt and voila. There must be a Tesco Express, Sainsburys Local or other near to your local BK. For this weather heat, take along an ice pack so the rest of the slices don't go off.
I've had their double halloumi burger as part of a meal a few times it's bloody delicious!

What's weird though is that sometimes you get nice thick cuts... other times its wafer thin. They've done well on bringing that out.
I don't see why you have to sell your soul for a £1.99 Wopper. Not exactly a deal when your info to them is way more valuable than the saving you get on your burger.
Point of order: those exclusions leave high street branches, AND non-service-station roadside outlets, including yer typical drive thrus. Which personally are the most likely place I'd buy anything like that, because elsewhere I'd go for a cheaper option a few steps away, whereas there's little alternative to the drive thru if you just want *something* as quickly as possible whilst driving somewhere against the clock. Whether you'd then want to prat about with the app and phone vouchers etc, idk, but if you have any passengers they could do it for you.

You have a choice, don’t use the app and pay £4.19 instead, and have that warm fuzzy feeling you got one over big brother, or just keep walking and get something else to eat....

I stopped eating McDonalds after a really bad experience from one in London somewhere, i can't remember where though, it was over 20 years ago, but it was terrible, covered in oil, fat, whatever it was, and the taste left a really bad linger metal taste in my mouth, nasty stuff. And then i watched a documentary about what exactly goes into McDonald's burgers and i don't eat them when i have the choice, although i did have one or 2 deals when i was in the homeless, living out of a storage unit, it was just convenient, and cheap. Although i found out that asking, at the end of the day, Subway staff whether they had any spare sandwiches left they'd give me a huge bag full of them free, so McD's was off permanently. The only thing good about them is the coffee, that's pretty good for the price.

I remember when i went to New York, I was staying in Queens and went to a Burger King, of my days, it was delicious, PROPER meat, thick sliced burgers, everything was fresh, not sure how it compares to over here because i haven't tried one in a few years, pretty hard to do when you can actually cook properly for yourself, and see and know what's going on your food...
