WHsmith airport stores 2 bags walkers crisps £1 or 89p each.

I know its not the best deal in the world and paying £1 for 2 bags of crisps in any supermarket is madness but seeing as its an airport store i think this is cheap.

My advice would be to take your own food to airport/ on plane but if you ever forget or just want a snack then i think this is a good deal.

Yep, u pay airport rates at the airport shops!!!

rather buy in supermarkets before we go alot cheaper, airport prices are a rip off even duty free sometimes

brrrr chilly deal I'm afraid!

So this is a good deal because it's in an airport? Madness.

never thought of taking some with you?!

never thought of going to the airport for crisps...oO

indeed, duty free last time i went on holiday a few months ago was more expensive than the shops. stupid.

you can take crisps though with you, its only liquids you can't.

Don't want to sound harsh but why waste time to post this rubbish? No one is going to come on here looking for 2 bags of crisps for a quid when they are flying off somewhere! I'm sure that would be the very very very last thing on their mind lol.

You people are so rude. It takes quite an effort to get these posts on here. I am sure the OP posted with good intentions. In my opinion a deal is a deal whether you take advantage of it or not. Should I abuse every thread that involves offers on shampoo because I am bald?

Could be useful for any airport staff or airline stewards/stewardesses wanting a quick snack. Most of the people i saw in the store where business men and women, guess they don't worry about the price when claiming it back on expenses.

Yes, this isn't the greatest offer and I wouldn't pay that money for crisps, but I have friends who travel for a living and think nothing of paying these prices, so some people will benefit.

But you could say that for anything in an airport or train station. Just because it's the cheapest there doesn't make it a good deal generally unless that is the only place you can buy the item, which of course it isn't.

WHSmith, 2 packs for 79p last time i went through and Boots 99p for 2 at airport up here. Why would you buy from the airport again though.
