WHSmith announced on Twitter that despite closing most of its locations at the end of trading on Monday 23 March, it’s trying to keep WHSmith outlets in hospitals open to serve staff. Simply show your NHS ID at the till to get the discount.

If you’re buying Graze snacks, you’ll also get an additional 20% off on top of the WHSmith discount (that’s a total of 36% discount on Graze snacks) when you show NHS ID.

20% off total rip off pricing = slightly less but still rip off pricing.... These parasites should not be allowed to operate at hospitals, the only thing at the same price as high street are newspapers.
is this 20% off the already expensive prices compared to normal shops ?

An offer is an offer but I'd be wary of those pre thumbed magazines atm.

Well done WhSmith
This also applies to WH Smith’s with a post office inside
the idea is to join in the circle of "supporters" to help their franchise name stay relevant.
Don't forget to ask for your large bar of Dairy Milk in case the staff forget whilst you buy the box of Good news chocolates and Wham"Make it big" cassette
This is old news
Yeh this is fishy as hell.

50‰ would have been a gesture.

20‰= a sale they would give to anyone! any day, with a cut out - from the metro.

No Free offers from WHSmith for NHS workers such as free food free drinks, using their enormous logistics network which is unused because of lockdown?
Still leaves it about about 50% more expensive than a normal shop.

What about non NHS staff, stuck in hospital with various conditions or visiting family, dont they deserve a discount? Rip off merchants, boycott..
