Was going to pick this up until I read on the box that “not everything pictured may be included”. Kind of defeats the point for me

Good point, but Thatcherism was never a fashion movement....... It was a plague.

Filofaxes went out of fashion same time as Thatcherism

Their "original" range is still made in the UK for those that care, that is the best value range for your money imo. Shame they don't just to a plain black colour in original personal size.

Agreed, once a brand known for luxury chocolate and now something you see on the supermarket shelves. Competitors like Hotel Chocolat have taken their place in the market.

Damn ordered the hardback (which this probably is) unsigned from Waterstones

Not clear if this is the hard back version as nothing in description, cover is same as standard hardback on waterstones.com but isbn is different at 9780385654111. Good deal if for a signed hardback. But as someone else said not as desirable as the £35 limited (to 5000!) edition hardback from waterstones

Excellent deal. Ordered and heat given. Thanks!

Thanks OP. Some books at WHSmith are actually cheaper than Amazon, so an extra £5 off on top is bonus.

Appreciate the effort, but some of these prices, even after stacking the discounts are still much higher than competitors.

Is this the WH Smith in the station?

Its a good price. There is very little difference between any alkaline battery - all are within a 10% margin of each other irrespective of brand or price.

I had GP AA's in my Fluke 289 Multimeter. They barely lasted a week, compared to Duracell Industrial, which last over a month.
I ended up throwing half the box away, they were so crap.

ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE haha yeah pass thanks.

Opened up my recycling bin ages ago and found about 50 Daily Mail newspapers in there, it was as if the owner was too embarrassed to have them in his bin :-)

I took them out and kept them, whatever else you say about them it's handy for when you're painting, cleaning the oven, etc

Good deal from the daily hate.

Only came here to see the "only came in here" comments. Wasn't disappointed. Personally, I find it hard to care about coming in here to read the ....Just don't read it FFS!
