Now that is lovely but I'm not dying, nor do I intend to die shortly, I don't have the space, nor could I explain to visitors why there was an empty coffin lying around so I will give it a miss...

wouldn't it be cheaper to buy ply wood from wickes and make it yourself? would look better as you could even paint it your favourite colour.

if you are gonna make your own, you might as well choose your own favourite colour which could be anything, may even be appropriately black and white or even with your own portrait (whilst alive of course) artistically painted on it.

this idea is getting more attractively as i am thinking it out. perhaps i could start a business of customised coffins where you have anything you like painted on it to personalise it. coffins are always sad, perhaps we should lighten it up a bit and treat death as a natural event rather than a terrible disaster as everyone knows it happens to us all like taxes and ageing.

Do these let any light in?

Unfortunately I am too tall - size is up to 5' 6".

don't you know? they always push your legs up when you are placed in a coffin? you'll be fine.
as if you are gonna notice the tight fit.

This will go cold give it time

If you give it enough time it will go more than cold!

good deal great find !!!

i think it would be better to have a wicker basket that works for other functions but could then be converted into a coffin when needed. much more practical as you could get more use out of it and don't have to explain to people every time some one walks through the front door and see this greeting them.

Another dead deal.

Nice, I'll just use it as a laundry basket until I need it personally.

to your own personal design? i doubt it as it would take too long to make and after you are dead most corpses need to be burried quickly.

Yes to your own design,I have seen a few amazing ones.
And no most corpses don't need to be buried straight away, bodies can be prepared or stored for a good while. That is the job of undertakers and in fact a good chunk of their cost. Embalming and preparing bodies is a very interesting process.

John Lewis will price match and you get a 2 year warantee.

Ideal for the crematorium heat added

Pmsl!!
I voted hot, but if I'm using it is be cold! ;D

this is a DEAD good deal!

Just bought one thanks

Is there a padlock included with this model?

I have one of these at the front door. Great for keeping shoes, hats and scarfs in and it is sturdy enough for the kids to sit on whilst I tie up their laces.

this is a pretty good idea for its use before death. a box that stores your shoes in and you can sit on it to put your shoes on. pretty cool.

nice one, mother in law needed a new bed

Haha, I didn't think The Moaning Of Life Was That good, but that was a very funny episode.
