Bit worried about the 4 drills that failed in the reviews. Other than that it looks like a good deal.
1.3Ah not good

Perfect for the application. You get 2. If you can exhaust both before one is recharged then this is probably not the drill for the job in the first place. Decent for the price!
good drill this, had some use out of ours including drilling through brick to wall mount TV's and alarm system on outside of house. great deal at £50
I registered for wickes trade discount so would get another 10% off. Looked at this drill today although still priced at £99. There was another wickes drill £20 off at £39 but only comes with 1 battery. I guess this is a good buy, but consider lidl drill at £30 plus you can send for another battery for £25 I think. The lidl batteries fit a number of tools so may workout better for some.

This one has a hammer action and superior torque over the lidl one... I need one soon, and if I had a Wickes nearby I'd consider this over the lidl one...

Interesting. I might consider getting one then from the local wickes if it has hammer. With the trade card I could get this for £45 which is a bargain. Will sleep on it

How do you get the trade card, online it says this which seems like there is no trade card scheme :

Do you offer a discount to the trade?

Wickes does not offer discounts to trade as our products are set at the lowest possible prices already. However, we do run regular 'Buy Bulk & Save' offers on products regularly used by tradesmen including cement, timber and plasterboard. If you can find an equivalent product cheaper elsewhere we offer our Price Promise!
To get 10% off every month at wickes...    It seems a lot of people don't know about this, and since there's nothing on the Wickes website about it, it's not surprising.

If you're in the trade, you can sign up to receive an email each month from Wickes which contains an offer valid for that month. So far, every month for about 3 years, it has been 10% off when you spend £10 or more in store.

To get these emails, go into a Wickes store and ask to register for their "Exclusive Trade Emails" and they will give you a form to fill out. You'll then get an email at the start of each month with your discount, which is simply a barcode that they scan in store and your discount comes off (can scan from your phone, or from a print out).

Although this won't appeal to everyone, since it is trade only, hopefully it will help some of you

I bought one of these to replace a makita that melted drilling 18 of 64 32mm holes in my mtb wheels. Its a good drill. The batteries last well and more importantly it didnt melt while it did the rest.
Worth bumping this, Wickes are 15% off over easter weekend, so just 42.50!
