I want the DIY version where they send you a packet of tree seeds for the wood and a lump of ore to make the nails and tools.

Look on it as a longterm project.

What a ridiculous comment. So a large gas BBQ is considered chav as is a huge furniture set? The mentality of some people is beyond.

who told you pallets are free? we sell our old surplus pallets to a local pallet dealer for between £2 and £3 each, he then sells them on for £10 plus each.
If I had a backyard I would 100% order one of those

I just did a gumtree search for free pallets and lots came up.
Chavtastic! Great addition to estate living. Put it next to the hot tub.

Don't forget the insanely loud outdoor sound system
DIY question if you are putting something like this or a kids playhouse in the garden, what's the best way to prepare the ground?
I was thinking 2 x sleepers sunk into the garden to provide a foundations to place it on, but raised off the grass/ground.

Would the grass die off as no sun?

Video - IMO, I'd rather get a kiosk. Something that has a front opening & side door.

What sort of pallets are those??
Not what I was expecting at all - having to cut your own timbers etc....
Glad I didn't vote hot

To be fair, any time I've needed pallets, I've just went to whatever building site is nearby, they usually just give you them for free.

That being said, quality is all over the place, and I've never seen 12' pallets, so wouldn't be at all suitable for a project like this.

Most building sites are open and have guys walking around.

I don't mean I would walk into a half built house , you just call someone over from around the entrance, and ask for some old pallets that they're finished with. More often than not they'll tell u to wait there and appear back with a couple for you.

I notice your valiant defense of the middle class omits inflatable hot tubs, which clearly we can all agree are chavtastic...
