These things terrify me. My old one's blade guard got bent or misaligned somehow and when I went to put it down the blade was still spinning but now exposed so it kicked back and almost hit me, I try to stay away from power tools now lol.

I got my finger caught on belt sander. I had just put the 60 grit on.
I now stay away from it.

yeah they can be scary. when I get a new power tool they feel scary to use at first but then I get used to it. safety is so important though when using cutting power tools.
The above comments only prove that tradesmen are worth the money they get paid the amount of people who injure themselves by using power tools with no training whatsoever is remarkable. Leave it to the professionals, plus the finished job will look much better
Anybody got any idea where I can get an Erbauer Eri 665csw bare cordless circular saw for around £60, missed out when it was £59 at screwfix and refuse to pay them £79 (current) when they can sell it for £59 and still make on it

All good for the 1st part, I have my doubts about the later though. It would be true if the amount of cowboys around were a lot less than it is. Just saying...

haha love it. they don't need safety goggles just shut your eyes and saw. your eye lids are nature's safety goggles.

Ahaha.
My last builder:
Was 12" out on a steel beam.
4" out for an oak beam.
Placed sink pipes 10" away from where they should be.
Ordered 40 bags on cement and 10 bags of sand.

Thankfully no but it was too close. Always check the blade guard people oO.

As for the name back in the day I wanted a nice handle for Unreal Tournament and now 17 years later I still have it, I should probably change it to something more appropriate like 'chicken, chips and trifle'.
