I once bought one of these because it was cheaper than buying 15m of cable I needed...

I think anything cheaper than £1/meter is good value

great price, Just ordered a 25m from cpc for just under £18 yesterday, would got this if I'd of waited!

CPC deal sounds good, but not sure what you meant "would got this if I'd of waited"

Phew, was just about to buy the 20m one from Wilko for £18.
Thanks!

Thanks.

Ah you're one of those people. Hope you feel better now

Already have a couple of these. One once stopped working and they swapped it without quibbling. The store manager said, "well, it says lifetime warranty on it". Didn't even ask for proof of purchase.

I'm afraid I'm 'one of those people' too. This confusion of 'of' and 'have' has become very common and of course comes from the way people naturally say 'could've' rather 'could have'. Then, when it gets written down, the mistake arises. The problem, and imho it is a problem, is that 'could of' makes absolutely no grammatical sense, so there is no way it can be explained to someone trying to learn the language. I don't know why minor grammatical or spelling corrections are always greeted with such hostility.

Because there is no need to point out everyone's mistakes, also I accept the point being made it may not be correct English but everyone has still understood what's been said, no need to pick out peoples minor issues / defects it just makes people feel bad.
