As title. 10litres of good quality white matt emulsion for 15.99 at wickes. Normal price is £19.99. I was coming to buy it anyway as I find it every bit as good as named brand emulsions.(Dulux etc.)

I saw in The Range today they had Dulux 10 litre white matt emulsion for £13.99.

Good deal, why not post it? No Range stores within 20 miles of me and wickes is a mile away.

its like milk

For what it is, the price is OK, so for a cheap paint to lash on, why not.
However, this is contract matt, it is the lowest grade of paint available.
Personally, I would only use this to seal and first coat new walls, or to cover an unwanted colour before putting on a decent paint.
Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. A higher quality paint ( yes, more expensive) will out perform this in every way. It will be better to work with, it will cover better, and it will go further litre for litre.

I have used it and found it quite good but out of interest what paint would you recommend?

I"m not flying the flag for any particular brand, just pointing out the limitations of this type of paint. its definitely got its place in the market place, but if your budget can stand it, invest in a higher grade of product, for all the reasons I have stated.

Dulux Decorator Centres sell contract matt emulsion in white or magnolia for £13.99 all year round & you can also have it tinted to a range of colours....they're also doing 30% off Dulux Trade interior tinted paint until the end of the month

For 10lt of paint not the 5lt this is a good buy, plus if you ask in store to be signed up for the trade email offers you will get a 10% off voucher to use all the time. Well I been getting them every month for a few years.
