I have never bought timber from Wickes that hasn’t turned out to be warped or has twisted as it dried. Whilst Wickes continue to cut their timber before it’s cured, I will continue to avoid them. Not voted hot or cold, but Wickes and timber is like Sports Direct and customer service.

I bought some wood from B&Q which took on the shape of a corkscrew after less than a week - imagine what that would have cost if bought as that shape! They weren't too happy when I took it back either - do they not understand what this stuff is used for?
15% off over Easter weekend
I've used a lot of wood from Wickes. I open a pack and take the straight bits of wood. Thanks for posting this deal, heat added

same, I'm the guy who has bits of wood all over the floor in wicks trying to pick out the best bits, never had a problem myself and I've done many projects.
15% off price and 15% of size too,
Bought a pack of timber last year and all of it was well undersize by substantial amount.
Nothing to do with shrinkage.
Poor timber, Wickes used to be much better than this, shoddy new supplier I expect.
Last week needed cement. Two pallets full were all outdated.
If Wickes don,t get their act together they will be going down the pan.
Selco timber seems to be better but you need a tradecard.
I pay £1.25 per metre from my local builder for this.
