It has a phone number but not sure if it can be changed by PAC code.....can`t see any reason why not

Yes, you can. Please note there is no minutes/texts allowance. You may not be able to make/receive calls. Texts working fine
Not 100% sure but there may be upto £55 quidco cashback ... same for TCB ? Their links go to sim only pages, but its all under the heading of mobile broadband...

Apparently, as there are 1.7 billion Chinese lives to watch, their "watchers" would like something different to look at, when they get bored, hence few millions of Brits (and/or westerners) makes their lives exiting (they also need diversity)

Indeed, it will not be there that long, when 5G arrives (^^^^), they will start selling that (in 6 months or so). This is a 24 months contract.

I have the Vodafone version of this device[maybe the same internals?], it's solid. Maybe it's the network & not the hardware that's the issue. I'm a Three network user, it's great for me at home but a bit flaky out of town.

Well then you can add on the firmware to the list, V firmware may well be better than the generic. Which makes sense if you intend to use V, it may also work better with other networks if it’s a solid firmware.

The V home broadband router on the other hand is apparently terrible, it all comes down to network quality control in hardware and firmware. Did Vodafone supply it ? Is it locked to V ?

Fault diagnosing isn’t for the impatient many, toys out prams “JUST WORK (devil)” mentality - get what they deserve

Three out large populations isn’t the best, the 4G 800mhz roll out was limited by the backhaul (BT Wholesale) and the three U.K. Three servers, that’s being addressed now for 5G launch, you can’t provide great coverage with a old 3G backhaul network as everyone would be in a grinding hold pattern like London and Manchester that are highly populated which seem to be the worst on Three as base stations are saturated with people on unlimited data.

Gone for this deal. Cheers op
Problem is the device will be needing a upgrade when 5G comes, I personally have this device, great device, it's light and basically slightly bigger than a card like the image shows
Can i use this as the main broadband for my home?

Only 20gbs of data how much broadband do you use

Best to get an Unlimited plan
Edited by: "Norseg" 2nd May
Does this include the feel at home plan?
Is it approved by Gavin Williamson
Does this give you the WiFi whilst on holiday? I’m on three & I’m going to Mexico later in the year & it’s not on its list of countries on the three feel at home list? I have free WiFi at the hotel but not outside of it
Be careful if you plan on using this thing abroad, I had one last year and it was a cluster****.

The thing didn't work in the USA because it was 'not compatible' (their words) despite prior assurances it would work via chat and I ended up getting charged for some reason at one point in the EU despite being in my data limit, they theorised somehow it switched to an incompatible with go roam network.

I managed to get the thing thankfully refunded in the end but not after allot of hassle.

If you want to use Three abroad for mobile data, so far I've had a good experience just using one of their sims in my mobile, currently using a PAYG sim in the USA with a months data/call/texts addon with go roam on it and so far no problems.

I use 4g for our internet now, sick of getting ripped off for rubbish broadband, got a unlimited £10 retention SIM on three (have two of these, one for phone one for internet) and bought a Huawei b525 on Amazon, much faster than our broadband and seems more reliable! Only downside is I'm sometimes a little para about the radiation levels it could be emmiting in my living room

Using a MiFi mouter is emmiting the same radiation as WiFi and it doesn't matter since there is signals everywhere unless you wrap your house in Tinfoil like Chuck in Better Call Saul
Its none ionising
