dhb Hydron Wetsuit £82.50 (£72.50 new member code) @ Wiggle
Found 6 h, 20 m agoFound 6 h, 20 m ago
£72.50 with £10 off code for new users* *new email account This is an entry level suit which has good reviews.

Probably going to start surfing myself next year. Seem to be a few other good deals for the better suits on there. Any recommendations re brands/types?

Only 3/2mm ok for summer but you'd need 5mm really. It also doesn't have reinforced knees if your a beginner surfer

It’s worth noting this has 25% off. I paid full whack the other week and still think it was a good deal

Yes, I’ve been out in lakes and the sea the past few weeks (highfive)

Suitable for surfing in British waters?

Charge Spoon Saddle with Cromo Rails £15.95 @ Wiggle
Found 19th SepFound 19th Sep
A great comfy saddle at a whopping 36% off the RRP... I've had one for a few years now and can highly recommend it. Check out those reviews...

Tbh stick with it for a week , honestly once you run it for a week it gets super comfy

I got this saddle today (from a different seller) and I'm sending it straight back again. It's not in the slightest way comfortable. It's like sitting on a rock covered in cloth. What a disappointment.

But in stock in three different colours.

Extra 2quid delivery though.

Gutted I missed this.

Mate, I've been cycling competitively for 20 years. For most casual riders, sudocrem works adequately as a makeshift chamois cream - though it can stain your chamois. If you're a serious rider clocking serious mileage you might want to spend, but it isn't the end of the world for weekenders.

Sudocrem is for treating skin abrasion, rashes and cuts. Chamois Cream is for preventing you from getting them in the first place.

Even more so if you're in your birthday suit I would think!

Sudocrem's cheaper.

I bought some of this recently. Easily the best one I’ve tried, so far. Smells good too.

Felt VR6 Bike - Full carbon, Tiagra and Disc Brakes - £899.99 (with code) @ Wiggle
Found 25th AugFound 25th Aug
Saw this crop up on Wiggle, reduced even further from the £1259 it was last week.

I think you are a little paranoid and describing Quest as mediocre is a joke. Sure, some frames break and the manufacturers who suffer most from this are the ones that sell the most bikes! One post on a forum isn't a representative sample. I would expect to see thousands of posts if there was a real problem with the Trek and Canyon frames Quest make.

Considering all, is this genuinely a good deal? Is tiagra decent?

Canyon aluminium bikes are great made by Giant probably the best frame manufacturers in the world and the direct selling model means a very competitive price but Canyon carbon is quest composites who seem a mediocre carbon manufacturer with even the images on their own site showing people sitting on trolleys and hair caps/hats not properly worn so impurities could get in the carbon add to that a recent forum posting I saw where the a Canyon carbon frame cracked on the first ride I have a very negative impression of Canyon carbon quality. Also buying s/hand carbon bikes is much higher risk anyway. The original owner may be selling due to a small road accident, bike toppling over or has over-tightened a component. As carbon can crack internally with no obvious external indication it is much higher risk and having a carbon frame scanned is expensive.

Plenty of second hand carbon bikes go for well over £2k on eBay. I like finding bargains and would never pay RRP for a bike. I think the best value are often less well-known brands like Kuota and Orbea as there's less demand. Best value of all is Canyon though. Even at RRP they are good value to if you get them in the same when around 20% off it virtually cost-free cycling for 2-3 years as they retain a lot of their original price. Planet X are still good though!

Cycle paths are for less experienced cycling. Would you want to be walking on the pavement with your kids and a cyclists go past at 30mph. !! It is law that 25% of any road is allowed to be used by bikes. So a two cyclists can ride side by side legally. Car drivers legally do not have the use of all roads. P.s. I don't own a bike at the moment this stuff is actually in the highway code.

Take a look at Keela. Far better than Berghaus

It’s so fitness fans can get their secret sugar kick!

Shame they don't come in different lengths (I need an L for the waist but XXL for the inseam) so I'll stick with Berghaus. Nice if they fit you - would love something more breathable without spending a fortune on Gore-tex

I bought some trainers recently, and wondered why/how they were/got in

And don’t forget your free pack of Haribo that comes with all orders!

Pity only white and black. They need a few extra snazzy colours.

That is a deal breaker for me. I already have a thin tyre, and looking for something to get me through the gravel. Seems like this bike is the best choice at the moment. Is it?

This deal gets blown out the water by the Ribble offer, £999 a for road bike with full ultegra. Granted the ribble is not an adventure bike but it's much better vfm.

Great, thank you for the reply

You could probably rig something up for this. Get some cheap dashcam style things, mount them to the front, rear, left and right sides of your bike. Hook them up to a central battery. Cheapo 360 degree vision in the event of an accident. Then again I'm looking at ebikes where there's already a central battery to hook up to and it just makes sense to have lights, cameras etc. powered by that. Then again if you're at fault in an accident because you weren't looking where you're going that wouldn't be shown by this, only by a helmet mounted camera.

I’m lost. You just said it’s not hard, I didn’t either. Anyway go and buy your dash cam for your head and report back on its success/failure.

Well...I did...last comment :/

Who said it was hard? I’ve just said you’ve missed my point. (annoyed)

Lol just accept we have different opinions, it’s really not hard, have a good day now

Awesome deal as others have said. Just the fork and dropper post combined probably cost £600! One point though, tyres are 3.0 not 2.8.

Peach flavour only. Short "Best Before", hence the price but they will last for ages longer.

Hope they're nice .. just ordered 80 of the buggers!

Wiggle gels are great, although I'm not personally keen on the peach (I guess I'm not peachy keen...) Consistency is spot on, not overly sweet and they've fine for ages after the best before date.

Basically just a high sugar gel. Imagine a jelly baby in liquid form... there’s your energy gel.

wtf is an 'Energy Gel' :/
