Cold from me, I'm afraid - bought some of these for £25 a year ago and found them to be absolute rubbish. Spend an extra £20 and get some decent Shimano shoes instead - you get what you pay for!

Out of stock now... Though managed to buy the last one :) Thanks for pointing it out.
"ourdave" would enjoy a trip to watch the ]Brompton World Championship I'm sure!
Unfortunately not, but you might have seen me "riding" a bicycle that generates electricity rather than consumes it!
And you'll look like even more of a **** if your trousers get caught, you fall off and smack your head on the pavement. Honestly, the stupidity
I'm quite a keen ex racing cyclist. I got this bike earlier this year (well, the 7 speed hub gear version). I can honestly say that it's a really good bike - nothing like folders of yesteryear. I did 14 miles this (rather warm!) lunchtime in just over 50 minutes. Folds down in an instant, quite light. I'm 6'3" and it just about fits me. This really is a hot deal in every sense of the word. It's quicker to cycle from the business park I work on into town than it is to drive - so I don't use petrol at lunchtime and I don't have to pay for parking. Bike will pay for itself in a year!
Still on sale - if you are looking for some cheap lights (to be seen, rather than light the way) these are excellent for the money. The rear is very bright, and the front isn't bad either. Highly reccomended.
Just to update, this light set is still available at £15.20. Excellent reviews and best price on the net .
been on look out for decent bike lights and these seem to tick the box! ordered-cheers :P
not sure if that is a good deal or not, but thanks for introducing me to such a good site!!!
Good reviews - 29 out of 30 recommend these lights.
5% cashback (non bike/frames) at topcashback. Wish I'd known that last month!

hi, they are on topcashback.co.uk
This ]front bike light for £7.34 with FREE delivery seems like a very good deal on there. EDIT: What's the point of having a Paypal option and still forcing you to register! Bloody infuriates me registering on sites when Paypal should be all the ID you need!!
It's worth keeping an eye on the 'price drop' section too (]http://www.wiggle.co.uk/d/PriceDrop/12/1/1/). Nothing too brilliant on there at the moment but I've picked up a few great bargains off it in the last couple of years.
Just had mine delivered - it doesn't seem alarmingly obvious that it's the 'New improved Nano' version on the bottle though?
fenwicks all day long
Is the Fenwicks OK for cars as well as bikes? It seems to be more concentrated than Muck-Off going off there website.
Prefer Fenwicks myself but the big bottles of Muc-Off are brilliant for putting the Fenwicks in once concentrated.
Have some Reps mate!! Your deal is the best for me personally. 2 x 5 Ltr bottles including P&P works out at £27.99 delivered, which is the equivalent of 40 x 250ml bottles (£46 worth!!). These will be also delivered Next Day Delivery too. Cheers Steve;-)
The price is now up to £809.10, so the deal has expired. ClashinDevon
This does look to be a very good deal if you're in the market for a new road bike. The level of equipment is good and the people on the cycling forums seem to agree that it's a good buy. Mind you, the larger sizes are nearly all gone now and someone said they got news of this deal in an email that said it's for one week only, so it would be best not to hang around too much if you're interested. ClashInDevon
This bike seems a good price for a 2009 bike
Still coming up discontinued for me.
Cannot make this work - even as a registered customer
Hi mods, can this be un-expired pls....have just ordered one, was showinmg as 10+ in stock. Nice find - H+R added
Yeah thanks for posting, would have been handy if it had worked as want a couple of these for securing a couple of ladders to my roofrack!
lol. A nice picture of an empty basket! Nice try tho!
Looks good to me, a friend has an '08, which I think was lighter, so this model may not be specced as well. Still, I think it's a good deal as '09 bike prices are generally a lot higher than '08 equivalents.
Do not know the bike but looks OK - I ride a KONA Cinder Cone - cost about the same 2 years ago - voted hot
Show me a better deal for a decent bike please.
Cheers for the Currys heads up ;)
Even cheaper at Currys for GBP 79.99 and can reserve and collect in store...and get Get 8 Free paintballing tickets when you buy this 'Action' camcorder...see there website for more details: http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0095496078.1234013406@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccfiadeggldflemcflgceggdhhmdgmh.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=055091&category_oid=-31057
damn it sorry done it again pressed cold when I should have pressed hot  bargain for v3!!
The Elite Spindoctor Race Workstand is now £58.72 in the Wiggle February Sale. ]http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Sale/14/Elite_Spindoctor_Race_Workstand/5360036730/ ClashInDevon
Second hand turbo trainers apparently make good workstands also.
The stand you posted was a very good buy then. And my comments were not directed to you, more the majority of people on here who usually state that a bike is not worth the money when it is a proper bike and not a supermarket special, yet will purchase every gadget on here regardless of whether good or needed just becase it is an alleged bargain. Or trawl around every shop of a retailer trying to find something because someone may have posted that they got something at a stupid price, sometimes the only one is existence or a rare find.... Or an out of date find.... Buying something at a good price weeks or months ago cannot be used a reason why something else is not a good buy when that offer is unavailable. Unless time travel has been invented yet :-D Back to the stand. Great if you don't want to clamp a seat tube or a frame tube which is important if you have thin walled aluminium or carbon fibre. Front or rear can be clamped depending on what part of the bike you are working on. Height adjustable and rotates 360 degrees. I'm purchasing for a road bike but it will also service my mountain bikes.
thanks for that
An alternative workstand is ]this one, which at £14.20 is quite a bit cheaper. I have no experience of using it and I agree with the comments that with tools like this, you pretty much get what you pay for. ClashinDevon
Okay, sorry. I didn't notice that it was discontinued. They do have some other front lights in their sale: ]http://www.wiggle.co.uk/c/Sale/14/Lights_-_Front/ ClashInDevon
The Cateye EL510 Power Opticube Front Light is now £13.21 in the Wiggle February Sale. ]http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Sale/14/Cateye_EL510_Power_Opticube_Front_Light/5360019368/ ClashinDevon
I got this light for £14.95 in the Edinburgh Cycles sale a couple of months ago. It is a good light for the money, but I would not use it alone on an unlit road. I use it in combination with a Tesco 3W Cree LED torch and that is just about enough light for me on the country roads. I think Wiggle make this seem like a better deal by pushing the boat out on the RRP. Another retailer who also currently has this light priced up at less than £20 only claim a 33% saving, as they have the RRP as £29.99. ]http://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/product/offercateyeel510ledlight.aspx?&id=7265 It's also worth noting that while the quote from Wiggle in the original post is accurate, the HL-EL510 was 'new' in 2005. ClashInDevon
Been using an EL300 for a couple of years now, quality lights. Will get the EL510 to sit along side it. Use rechargeable AAs so virtually zero running costs
Dunno about the jacket but used wiggle loads of times including some SPD pedals recently and the price/quality & service were A1 :santa:
Back up to just under 20 quid now :/ Shame, I was about to buy it and refreshed the page from this morning. For the record, I've used Wiggle loads (not for about a year admittedly) and never had a single problem.
good price, voted hot. For what it's worth, a lot of cycling clothing takes length/height into account when sizing, as well as err girth. :whistling: And an XL in a cycling top would probably be catering to a slightly different chest size than, say, a rugby jersey.
i usually associate size XL with fat people, unlikely to do anything remotely connected to exercise, especially not cycling
I've used Wiggles many many times with no problems. Thanks for the £5 voucher!
not sure why this is attracting cold votes - looks good to me!
Im gonna get one of these. My cheapy one from Deal Extreme packed up.
I can now confirm that this light will be in the Edinburghbicycle sale on sat 30th from 10am (online as well), as I received a flyer in the post this morning. Price will be £14.95, no details regarding postage though. www.edinburghbicycle.com As usual it is accompanied by the obligatory Kryptonite lock and cable set £19.95, Altura shorts £24.95 and waterproof gloves £9.97, obviously they still have shed loads of these from previous sales! Apologies for going off topic.
Thanks for the confirmation.
I have used discountcyclesdirect and have had no problems with them:thumbsup:
I bought one of these lights from Edinburghbicycle about a year ago for around £15, though worth noting that it had been superseded by the EL520 even then. I also cant confirm if there’s a sale at the end of August as I would have expected to have received emails by now pushing there top ten products. Good light though, has survived a years worth of rain and dirt, would recommend that you get 4 good AA nimh's. Full and half power settings to provide decent burn time.
no i dont think so . had a look on there site there delivery is 3.50 or free if over 20pounds the also have shops in edinburgh ,aberdeen, leeds manchester, newcastle so just another option that might help some considering it
I only required rear and got it for £8 http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Smart_1~2_Watt_3_LED_Rear_Light/5360026001/ Beats me why this deal is "cold"
mine turned up today, great service & thanks again to the op.
If you look more closely there are 5 it's just that the diffuser has 3 clear spots to correspond with the 3 centre led's. i.e. centre 3 to be seen from a distance outer 2 more diffused to light up the lamp... Still not a patch on the Wiggle ones.
thats a really good price.
I purchased the rear light from Wiggle recently, £8.00 reduced from £16.00. It has an incredible light output (0.5W) and can be seen from hundreds of metres away. A flashing red LED is now entirely legal on the rear of a bicycle, so no legal implications. The idea is to be seen, and with one of these that is no problem! One of the reasons I got it was for time trials on a busy road and it is excellent for this purpose. The other ones posted on here litterally cannot 'hold a candle' to this Smart one.
Last time i checked they had gone :(
Gifted, did they turn up? Can you post pics please? These seem perfect for the new mtb i have ordered that comes with damn plastic pedals unlike my old one...Will replace straight away. Will they fit this do you think? http://*********.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=130244533787&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:VRI http://*********.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360074518932&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=023 Black flatties on ebay are over £9 for ones with metal centres too, and £12 in halfords, these look solid to me, which is good, the 6yr old metals on my current mtb, the left pedal broke, the core snapped/cracked open, and the assembly kept popping out, all the BB's fell out, and it was a pain. Replaced it with a plastic one i found in the shed which was too small, rebuilt the old core into the new pedal with the BB's from the plastic pedal... Now it has seized up. Good job my new bike is coming in 2 weeks. Now, any deals for wireless cycle computers that are a nice shape, water bladders, cheap backpacks with many internal compartments, cheap cheap front and rear lights? Getting kitted up ready! Thanks in advance, Matt
I would imagine so otherwise they would just come loose? I will let you know what they are like when they arrive, may post some pics up as well. I agree with you, they would come loose. I've seen pedals with both angled and rounded shoulders and although the picture of these pedals doesn't show it clearly, the shoulder does looks rounded. If you could post after they arrive, that would be good.
I would imagine so otherwise they would just come loose? I will let you know what they are like when they arrive, may post some pics up as well. They are 9/16"
Is there a proper square shoulder where the thread ends? Some otherwise good pedals have angled or rounded shoulders that intoduce a weakness that will show up under hard off road use. Is it 9/16" or 1/2"?
These are £200 now!
Just found it even cheaper here http://www.ashcycles.com/power/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=849 To answer the previous post what makes this about the best bike value for money imo is the quality you get from buying a well known brand, I've had a couple of Giants before and they really are very good value for money. Think of it a bit like buying a Sony or a supermarket brand.... Just to finish, ashcycles also have the trail version of the rincon at £234:99 which is amazing!
I don't know much about mountain bikes, but I do know that I'm fed up of my uber-cheap 'full suspension' bike because it's ridiculously heavy and blatantly a waste of energy when pedaling. So what makes this bike better than the 9 cheaper hardtail bikes listed on Wiggle? I'd prefer to spend as little as possible (I just want a lightweight bike I can ride to work, and once in a blue moon take on a dusty track)...
LOL - I was going to order one for my motorbike but these are completely illegal on the road... You might as well order a bunch of those high power lasers on DX and tape them to your bike! Road tax/insurance dodging lefty? What? I don't drive a car because I work only a couple of miles from home and it's very flat where I live. I have a motorbike for getting out of the city but cars don't move very much around here! Suppose they would if more people got a bike...
£594 for a bike light!!! Go buy a car you road tax/insurance dodging lefty.
Don't think they have any rear light versions... these are to see what is it front of you (and blind whatever is) A rear light version would be a little pointless... You could order two if you were planning that sort of anarchy!
LOL brilliant !
How much is a matching rear light.
20% off Lycra, quality!
oh no..don't let the OH see this one, I mean how much lycra does a man need?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last time I bother posting anything then, thanks.
you mean league 2? or the championship?
Haw-haw - 2nd division joke I'm afraid......;-)
I would have bought em if they had B&Q on - prefer their decking
Look pretty good to me, got to be worth trying for a fiver
Bit Late , But Where Can You Get These , At A Good Price ?? Thanks
Just ordered 2 to go with the 2 powerballs I bought as presents, nice find! Heat and rep added :)
thanks for that i ordered 2 for me :)
Cool have ordered one. Heat and rep added.

got mine this morning. absolute rubbish. the front light will come on when you press the button, then i turn it off.. then wait five minutes, try to turn it on again and nothing... wait another 5 minutes then it works. why is it soooo tempremental!?
will do nicely for my son's new xmas bike, thanks.
Could I use this as my primary front light, or would it best to go for something more 'beefier'? I'm always worried that I might get pulled over by the police or something because my front lights are inadequate
I bought them when they were over fifteen quid, pretty good in my opinion:thumbsup:
is this any good? Anyone bought these? How are these compared to cateye
well i know no one else wasn't interested in this post but just to let you know they turned up this morning so only waited two days so will give a big thumps up:thumbsup: for the site and the post really good gloves was impressed sp thanks to the op.
Take It I Was The Only One Taking Up This Offer....... Sure There's A Footie Song About This....................... :whistling: "on Your Own, On Your Own On Your Own..:whistling:
Saw this advertised before somewhere but have ordered some now as will be soon going a bike course for my job. i know a 2 day course on how to ride a bike so much for the saying once you learn you never forget ha ha. And added bonus site takes paypal so fingers crossed if they come now... Voted Hot. Just hope others haven't had problems with this site but at least covered by paypal regarding money back if problems...
Just got mine very nice indeed , going to wear mine us a under garment this winter
Bought some of these the other day, great buy, also worth looking in wiggles clearance sale, some really good offers if you look carefully:thumbsup:
Thanks for the helping Hand .. Newbies HUH :P , Regards Dave
Hello Kurvz, Welcome to HUKD ! I've added the price and retailer name to the thread title. Thanks.
Just got this:
Ah well, hope some people get them. I'll expire it, but there are some other good deals still on there (especially that stem) so if anyone wants to post a new sale deal please do... PS Please do post good bike part deals if you spot them, or similar niche things; whilst they don't tend to get too hot or too much coverage there are enough people on the forum who appreciate it to make it worthwhile :)
Voted STEAMING HOT!! Stunning price for these forks - shame I've just bought some second-hand forks for £57 - these would have been a far better buy. Only 2 left - grab 'em quick Bubba
THIS IS NOW £4.84 OR LESS IN SALE!!!!
Aye but i doubt they ever made cast iron suspension bikes lol. If its an old steel-framed bike from a few years ago, its most likely not that heavy and most the weight is in the components. Cant tell if you trail ride , but after 8years of 5-day a week through mud i bet a lot of its been replaced anyway. And no wonder people Pirate films, when all Hollywood makes are crappy old ideas.
How can one part be most of it? I'm with you on the Transformers though.
Meh didnt even like Transformers the first time they were about. As for the cast iron bike, yea a bit of an exageration on most of it ;-)
Yes I do. I always get home smiling! Well smiling, wet and muddy. I must poiint out that all kinds does exclude lunar terrain sand and ice. So I think it might have been a slightly mistaken exaduradtion when I said ALL kinds!
