No personal experience, but there's a good chance they will not honor the voucher if you didn't receive it.

2.3 Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-

(i) you are entitled to use the code;
(ii) you meet all the conditions that apply to its use;
(iii) you agree to the terms set out below.

If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.

Thats fine you go ahead and pay £179.99 whilst I will take my chance and hopefully get the discount. It does not hurt trying.

It's the difference between being a pessimist or an optimist !

Not sure who this comment's aimed at but I totally agree with you. Just pointing out why people are voting cold.

Worth a punt.

The thing is that there have been offers in the past for Wiis for £150ish. I think Asda did them at that as one example. No codes and no risk. Maybe if you up for a bit of risk this is a good deal but post Christmas and credit crunch time you should be able to pick them up cheaper than £179.99 just as easily as you could in the months running up to Christmas.

This voucher will get cancelled if they didn't send it to you. But if you register with them and dont buy anything then they will send you the voucher automatically. Same with Littlewoods etc. You just have to think in advance.

If you register first time with them, they will definately honour the voucher. Worked for me.
Not sure about existing customers however.

At least they have them in stock.

I am willing to take a gamble as I can't find one anywhere.

Good job OP

Ordered this yesterday and confirmed a £149.13 value etc even got order no and invoice printed. However i go to the track order page on MWs web site and showing value as £179.13! Is this anything to worry about? Certainly not happy to pay for this without £30 discount!

They will refund you the £30 when its dispatched, then you just have to wait and keep an eye on back statements to check they dont claw it back in a month or two.

How would they claw it back without my permission?

You have read their Terms and Conditions?
If you were not given the voucher directly or entitled to use the voucher they can/will reclaim that money back from you.

Now you know why these catalouge deals get cold.

Just ordered mine and got it for £149.13, many thanks:thumbsup:
