There is no reduction in the RRP, but everywhere else I have checked is sold out and stopped taking pre-orders a long time ago, e.g. Amazon, Game, Play.com, Shopto, Zavvi, HMV etc.

I pre-ordered my Wii from Argos when everywhere else was sold out and had it was delivered perfectly on time.

You've been able to pre-order Wii Fit from Argos for a while now, but the delivery dates you could choose were always before the release date, which made me wary of ordering it. (When you get to select delivery it only gives you times during the next 10 days as options).

But now you can select dates from 25th April onwards (and can order Saturday 26th April delivery for another £2.95 - handy for those with no-one home on Friday) on top.

Yes - it is the normal price, but nowhere else that I can see has it in stock for pre-order on release date. It seems like it's going to be almost as hard to get hold of Wii Fit as it was to get a Wii console when they first came out.

it will probably be cheaper to wait after release...there will be plenty around after release date

You really think you wouldn't be able to just buy this on release date?? Look at Mario Kart this is far more popular and you can still buy that....
NOT A GOOD DEAL FREEZING

Dont think you can compare the two. One is a game and the other is hardware. games can be produced in their millions quite quickly

exactly...been in this game for 20+ years and its the same every time...demand is low until fever picks up, then everyone rushes out to buy it and cant, then resort to either waiting a long time or buying it on ebay...trust me, you have a LONG wait if history is anything to go by...i mean you may have to wait to late summer, even xmas
i bet nintendo are making a mint on this 'game'
