The resident evil need a different gun than this as you need the nunchuck . it will fit in this, I think you then have to hold it on it's own.

Thanks. Shooting people is so much more stress relieving than table tennis or bowling

Cheers for the heads up, not actually played it yet, I think I should be ok holding the nunchuck in other hand though If not i'll buy a wii zapper thingy.

I thought you couldn't use the wiimote to "point" at an area on the screen. Kinda makes these gun things useless.

You thought wrong. Shooting games use the infrared camera on the front of the wii mote to pick up the infrared sent out by the bar on top (or below) of your tv.

When I got mine I got the zapper gun with it. it make the game alot better when they are both in the gun.

That's how you pick the stuff on the screen in the first place even if it is not a shooting game.

I have one of these for "deer drive" and "house of the dead: overkill". Hunting deer and/or zombies has never been so much fun.

just brought the last one from bellvale, liverpool.looks pretty cool and solid.

So he's right then. The wimotes about as accurate as Stevie Wonder with a set of darts.

Looks nicer than all the other cheap guns. Might give it a go. Thanks OP

The Wii has no idea where abouts on the screen you are pointing at. It knows you are moving up, down, left, right, but you cannot use it to point at the screen.

Let me give you an example......

You are playing your Wii on a 17" screen, to take the pointer to the far left of the screen, you point the wiimote at 30deg to the left.

You then change the screen for a 60" plasma. To take the pointer to the far left, you STILL point the Wiimote 30deg to the left, pointing in the same place as before.

If you don't know what I mean, just google it. Loads of people complaining about the same thing.

If you buy this, get Ghost Squad. One of the few games you can effectively use it on:)
