just had a very interesting conversation with both gamestation and game , i was told that they are going to be having courier stock of wii consoles delivered every week in the run up to christmas, although they cannot give specific days so its worth a call every day. they do sell at RRP too so no rip off deals .

hope this helps someone avoid paying over the odds from some dodgy person or company.

chances of getting a wk last wk of xmas be be tiny all the last minute shoppers will be crowding the stores and online looking for them, will be madness. best as said above get a stock updater or keep eye on here, a few of us got some 2day.
i wouldnt leave it till last wk for sure

@ patchy987 - please try to make the titles more informative - "wii stock" doesn't really tell people much...

Hey, don't get offended if the deal you posted gets voted cold!! I think the reason that this deal might be voted cold is that most people already know that stores get deliveries weekly and if someone wanted a Wii they would probably be checking stores and sites regularly. Also Gamestation don't offer the best bundles on the Wii so it's not such a hot deal. Don't be disheartened though!!

Considering it's posted in the 'hot deals' section and consists of information from someone at gamestation saying 'they should be getting stock weekly' with no other details it's hard to see why people would vote hot.

This is without taking into account the fact that Gamestation are one of the few companies trying to rip people off when selling Wii's recently by only selling them as a bundle with 3 games for £299. When I looked at the deal (taking account of the prices the 'games' that were offered) this meant they were charging £240(ish) for the Wii. Hardly hot. :giggle:

Don't forget Gamestation is owned by Game. Me personally, I think Game is trying to kill them off, by doing stupid bundles and other tactics

well i got a good deal from gamestation , console plus any 2 games and £10 of accessories for £249 . if you consider the games i got were £34.99 each you can see that i got a fair deal

Now that the 'Wiimote' strap production has been ramped up to meet production rates of the console, then the shortages seen last year should not be repeated from hereonin.

But thanks for your consideration for others who may not have known.
